I had a Sewall adapter and it created some diagonal wavy lines. This Mayflash does none of that. Works great with my MClassic cable. In addition it was smaller and cheaper!

I researched this product online first and this is the one that was preferred by some gaming person on YouTube. It arrived quickly. This was an easy install, plug and play. Got rid of a lot of extra cables and the picture is really clear for a HDMI transition. Great product.

Amazing quality unlike the other wii2hdmi that i bought. This one doesnt make the volume of the wii hi pitched or louder and also no ghost lines on the screen. I am very happy with this product and i hope it last me a good while so i can enjoy my wii (:

Bought this after checking reviews on similar devices. I had a different convertor and it was ok, but not great. This convertor makes the Wii look it did with an analog TV, which was pretty good. Try it..youll like it...

Definitely worth the extra $7 over alternatives. I had a 2017-ish Wii hdmi converter for years. It was comparable to AV cable with different trade offs, but image quality was slightly inferior to games running in the WiiU vWii. (Built in hdmi) Eventually the old adapter case started to fall apart. The old adapter was so long, I was afraid the hdmi cable would torque out the video plug from the back of the Wii. This new adapter produces far more vibrant, sharper and consistent picture than any other options I’ve seen including vWii on the Wii U. Text is much more readable as a result. Both Wii and GameCube games come across as almost modern remasters or as though they were run through a good pc emulator.

Just installed the MAYFLASH Wii to HDMI Converter today and it works perfect. Plugged it into the Wii and then plugged in an HDMI cable going to my T.V. Changed the Wii settings to 16:9 and EDTV. The games look so much better! Vibrant and bright colors and the text is easier to read. Amazon shipping was super fast. Im really happy with this purchase.

I previously had my wii hooked up via the composite, three little circle plugs. I was surprised at how much better this looks.

I actually bought 4 for me and my buddies. Anyway, 1 of 4 adapters gave this shade of green hue that was totally inaccurate since the screen supposed to be blue. The blue shade showed perfectly on all 3 adapters, but the 4th worked but was somewhat defective as far as color accuracy goes. It would have seemed accurate during gameplay if I didn’t compare it to another adapter of the same one that was accurate. I will go ahead and message to seller mayflash to let them know about this. In the meantime these are way better than the wii2hdmi adapters that are selling everywhere for dirt cheap.

This is the newest adapter of its kind since this review was written. I have tried others like it, but there were always issues. The most common issues with Wii to HDMI adapters come in the form of audio that sounds awful during gameplay involving multiple sound effects, or very distracting scanlines on your TV. This adapter is the only one where I had none of these issues in any way, and its smaller! Currently, Wii to HDMI adapters are in high demand because of upscaling technologies like the MClassic and MCable. I bought this product because I heard from other people that its compatible with the MClassic. Unfortunately, it did not work with my MClassic. Its important to note that I did not try to use any other devices to get it to work with the MClassic. What people will not tell you is that you may need some type of splitter or device that can repeat the signal to make it a strong 480p before using it with the MClassic. Despite registering as 480p on your TV or Monitor, the MClassic doesnt detect it very well coming directly from the adapter. So if youre okay with spending a little extra money to achieve a higher resolution for your Wii, I would consider this product a must-have since it takes up little space.
