> 3 dayI previously had my wii hooked up via the composite, three little circle plugs. I was surprised at how much better this looks.

> 3 dayI bought this product to see if it was any better than Wii to hdmi Converter, Gana wii... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078MGZ56R?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share and it was. The picture was clear with no distortions. It also has a smaller size profile. This is the way to go for an economical solution to connect a Wii to a 4K TV.

18-11-2024DONT FORGET TO TURN on Widescreen plus EDTV in the wii video settings also at start of each gamecube game that will give you the full 480x720p resolution bass dose seem too loud not sure if its my TV or the device but a dongle would be stronger incase wii fell or something but this adapter uses pass threw which is what I wanted. I dont understand why it states 1080p in description must me translation error since it dose work on any 1080p TV. im REALLY HAPPY with it any retro gamer knows you dont want upscaling you want integer line doubling which my OLED already dose. Thank the gods this adapter is not a composite to HDMI the description kinda worried me I compared gladius on GC vs xbox both looked same shocking since xbox is so much powerfuller. its shocking how well component to HDMI adapters can look I didnt want to spend 260 bucks on a digital gamecube cables so I went with a Wii plus this adapter. Im really happy with money I saved. I know for fact no body could tell difference without a magnified glass if they comparing mayflash Wii to a digital gamecube. Kaico and Mayflash are the only HDMI adapters worth their salt... if it was not for the bass bottoming out It would be six stars lol !

> 3 dayWorks great right out of the box. Passed both audio and video to HDMI to my 4k TV w/o any issues. Things looked even better when I switched the Wii settings from SD to HD.

Greater than one weekThe other Wii HDMI adapter I tried, the Portholic, wouldnt display 480p, and I realized that most of the other adapters sold on Amazon are pretty much the same build and spec with different branding, to the point where the product descriptions are identical. I also tried a component-to-HDMI converter which transmitted 480p well, but is far less portable with the unit size, the need for a power supply and the need to bring a component cable too. So I decided to try this item because I knew it had at least a different spec than the Portholic and all its clones. 480p works great, and its even more compact and easy to carry, which was the whole point of looking for a direct HDMI adapter rather than a converter.

> 3 dayThere are better, more expensive ways to convert AV to HDMI if you want your video quality to be the best possible. But this is cheap, and it does its job. Very convenient since now I dont have to use outdated AV. I would recommend

Greater than one weekThis adapter is a few dollars more expensive than some of the other ones on the market. However, the increase in quality more than makes up for this. Compared to other adapters, I t’s smaller, the build quality is nicer, and it’s the only adapter that doesn’t cause weird diagonal lines on a 4k screen.

> 3 dayI actually bought 4 for me and my buddies. Anyway, 1 of 4 adapters gave this shade of green hue that was totally inaccurate since the screen supposed to be blue. The blue shade showed perfectly on all 3 adapters, but the 4th worked but was somewhat defective as far as color accuracy goes. It would have seemed accurate during gameplay if I didn’t compare it to another adapter of the same one that was accurate. I will go ahead and message to seller mayflash to let them know about this. In the meantime these are way better than the wii2hdmi adapters that are selling everywhere for dirt cheap.

> 3 dayThis is the newest adapter of its kind since this review was written. I have tried others like it, but there were always issues. The most common issues with Wii to HDMI adapters come in the form of audio that sounds awful during gameplay involving multiple sound effects, or very distracting scanlines on your TV. This adapter is the only one where I had none of these issues in any way, and its smaller! Currently, Wii to HDMI adapters are in high demand because of upscaling technologies like the MClassic and MCable. I bought this product because I heard from other people that its compatible with the MClassic. Unfortunately, it did not work with my MClassic. Its important to note that I did not try to use any other devices to get it to work with the MClassic. What people will not tell you is that you may need some type of splitter or device that can repeat the signal to make it a strong 480p before using it with the MClassic. Despite registering as 480p on your TV or Monitor, the MClassic doesnt detect it very well coming directly from the adapter. So if youre okay with spending a little extra money to achieve a higher resolution for your Wii, I would consider this product a must-have since it takes up little space.
