> 24 hourMy daughter loves this puzzle. We bought it for her at 18 months and she is now 2 and can name every letter. The only drawback is it gets a little messy when shes done playing with it because of all the pieces. I just put them in a small storage container.

> 24 hour...because it is bright and colorful, very tolerable to chewing and sucking, and well, for whatever reasons that are unbeknownst to me he loves it for them too. Melissa & Doug toys are some of the best toys for young children out there. It is also a great toy because it is introducing numbers at the earliest ages possible. That as well as problem solving. Its all about numbers and mathematics. Do yourself a favor and help your child as many ways as possible to learn math and sciences. Thanks M&D for this great toy.

> 24 hourI have purchased this letter puzzle as well as the same Wooden Chunky style number puzzle for my 2 1/2 year old daughter. Thanks to these puzzles, which she asks me to play with nightly, she can already count to 20 and can name at least 60% of the letters in the alphabet. Thank you to Melissa and Doug for quality craftsmanship and sturdy design.

> 24 hourmy 2 year old loves to put this puzzle together. I chose this puzzle because the numbers are shown on the board under the pieces as well. Most number puzzles have no easy way for the young child to see where the piece goes.

> 24 hourThe number blocks are great! They’re big so if your child is anything like mine that puts stuff in their mouth then you won’t have to worry about them choking on it.

> 24 hourPros: My son loves all Melissa & Doug puzzles. I especially like this one because of the size of the numbers. They fit perfectly into the hands of a toddler. Cons: I am constantly looking for the numbers all over the house. There should be a website to order long lost numbers (13 has been missing for a few weeks now).. or better yet, how about coming in sets of multiples? Nevertheless, a great toy for toddlers to learn their numbers, build towers and play dominoes with! Definitely a puzzle that I would recommend!

> 24 hourmy son is only 2, so this puzzles use is a bit limited right now. But the quality and adorable factor are amazing- the colors and designs are vibrant and I know it will come to good use as my son grows. He likes playing with it and we have started working on his A,B,Cs, but I think it will only get better when he doesnt want to just throw the letters across the room. =)

> 24 hourMy daughter was 20 months when she got this. She has really advanced the last 2 months in being able to identify and place the letters where they need to go. Seems like a good educational toy. Only reason why I didnt rate it 5 stars is because all the colors just seem like too much for me. Each letter has a corresponding animal or object or something, but we still havent worked on identifying that because its just a little much. I dont even see them when I look at the puzzle...
