> 3 dayI haven’t had one last more than a year. Once in a while if it’s off line I’ll have to unplug and plug back in. Or I’ll have to reset completely. I have 4 that are 100% dead and can not connect. Tossed them.

> 3 dayThese HomeKit compatible smart plugs are super easy to setup with your iPhone. They are 2.4 ghz only but no issues with my dual band router.

> 3 dayI had a plug before that the app no longer worked with my Apple integration, so tried this one. It was easy to install, but there was slight confusion between using the Meross app or Apple Home. Perhaps if there is a newer version of the app you would be able to tick a box to use one or the other and keep it that way to avoid the confusion.

> 3 dayDisappointed. It is advertised as works with HomeKit and Hub not needed, but those are inclusive. That is simply for turning it off and on. In order to program/automate through HomeKit a HomeKit Hub (Like AppleTV or HomePod) IS required. You used to also be able to use an iPad as a hub, but that is no longer supported by Apple either in the latest update (16.2). You can use the Meross app without a hub for automation, but that isnt HomeKit.

Greater than one weekWow, seems like the search has ended I been looking for a HomeKit compatible plug and I do extensive research before buying this kind of gadgets, unfortunately haven’t found a trusted one and ended buying a “TP” product but seems like they are getting behind the Meross brand eventually I’m switching over Meross products because with my experience they are reliable enough. I switched my MyQ garage opener for the Meross and no regrets and replacing all my smart plugs as well and having the option of Apple’s HomeKit is a plus I been using Google Home integration but if HomeKit is available I prefer it 100% I also updated to the Meross Collie on their Indiegogo campaign and I’m very happy with the result the other Meross worked good but as mentioned I prefer the HomeKit integration with no doubt. I’m using this plug for my coffe maker, bedroom salt lamp and security cameras and they work wonderfully with no disconnection or malfunction as others I have tried, really happy with this smart mini plugs. Meross app work extremely well and gets constant updates so they care about their products and customers and that is most important thing, I’m a happy new customer and going to replace everything to Meross in the near future. Thank you Meross A happy customer,

> 3 dayHad another brand I got from a friend and they weren’t that reliable or hooked up to Apple HomeKit. These do and they are so fast! There’s no delay when pressing the button on my iPhone. Love that! Would highly recommend if you are looking to get your house outlet plugs hooked up with HomeKit for cheap.

> 3 dayI don’t use HomeKit. The requirement to plug in for 15 minutes to allow installing without HomeKit was not highlighted. I found the requirement based on info shown on the lid of the plug box after numerous tries to install like I have done many times before without having to use the 15 minute requirement. The devices work great.

> 3 dayFirst off I have to say that I was given these plugs as a promotional item for my honest opinion and review. This will be a pretty long review but it does have a somewhat happy ending. The Meross Mini Smart plugs do live up to their name and are small enough to easily fit 2 on a standard dual outlet wall plug. The Apple Home integration was a simple and very straightforward process. All 4 plugs show up and can easily be controlled in the Home app. With that being said, the integration into the Meross app, Alexa and SmartThings was extremely frustrating but I was eventually able to get the plugs fully functional in Apple Home, the Meross app, Alexa and SmartThings. I do not have or use Google Assistant so I cannot speak to that aspect of the integration process. I initially used the Meross app for the setup and by just following the prompts was easily able to integrate all 4 plugs into Apple Home. But, after that, I could not get them to show up in any other app including the Meross app itself. Eventually I stumbled upon a method of installation that worked for me and finally allowed full functionality in Apple Home, Meross, Alexa and SmartThings. With the Meross app already installed and after factory resetting the plugs I initially set them up using Apple Home directly by scanning the QR code for each plug. After getting them all set up in Apple Home, I opened the Meross app, tapped the “+” in the upper right to add devices and Meross found the 4 plugs. I was then able to add them to both Alexa and SmartThings. They all seem to be functioning just fine in all 4 apps except for the fact that the Meross app does not usually show the correct state of the plug when they are controlled by any of the other apps but all of the other apps show the correct state when a plug is controlled by the Meross app. If the Meross app is closed and then opened again it will show the correct state for the plug. So, at this point I would rate the physical plugs as a 5 but because of the software issues and having to jump through hoops to finally get things up and seemingly working as advertised I can only grudgingly give the Meross HomeKit version Mini Smart Plugs an overall 4 star rating but for the price and functionality in the many different apps i would highly recommend giving them a try.

> 3 dayI have around ten Meross smart items. A few Plugs and Blubs. When they stay connected and work, theyre truly amazing. But sadly, they often lose WIFI connection which requires a reset. Resetting the device is an absolute hassle as you need to delete the device(s) from the Meross or HomeKit app and then attempt to re-add them. Re-adding a device thats already been added can be a real headache as the connection will fail and claim the device already exists even though its been removed. I often need to complete the setup process many, many, many times before it will actually work and the device appears in my ecosystem again. When I finish writing this review, I need to attempt to reconnect 2 smart plugs and 1 bulb. This will be my fourth attempt this morning and the third time Ive had to do this process in the two weeks that Ive owned the devices. Be mindful, if you have MANY Meross devices, they all need to be connected/reconnected INDIVIDUALLY which can be time-consuming. Ill still continue to purchase Meross plugs and Bulbs but I honestly home the coming Firmware updates resolve this insanity.
