> 3 dayThese things pair with HomeKit instantly and easily, be sure to take a picture of the QR code on the plug before you plug it in, then just copy and paste it from your photos to HomeKit app.

> 3 dayI have used other smart plug brands, but this one seems the easiest to set up in HomeKit. So far they have been very reliable as well.

> 3 dayThese are definitely the best HomeKit smart plugs I’ve used very reliable small enough to fit two in one outlet stacked one on top of the other some of the other smart plugs I’ve used partially block the second plug I would definitely recommend these plugs for the price point and the easy set up meross has a lot of great products that I’ve been using( light bulbs, smart garage door opener in wall smart switches ) and will continue to add more If you have a 5 hertz and 2.4 hertz dual band for me the trick that I’ve found was go to the furthest outlet away from your wireless router and do the set up this will initiate your 2.4 Hz band and lock that in. it seemed to me anytime I hooked up a smart product next to my router it would key into the 5 GHz and I would lose connection periodically so I found the furthest away from the router the better for initial set up with HomeKit and other 2.4 only smart products these plugs I have had no issues on HomeKit with the (red)not response logo in HomeKit And when I have to reboot my router they reconnect automatically with no problem

> 3 dayI use this to automate a lot of my appliances and extras that are plugged in all the time but don’t need to be. This plug works great 98% of the time occasionally I have issues where it says it’s unreachable and in order to fix it I have to unplug it and then replug it back in and it works fine after that. I have a hunch it could be because it’s too far from the router but not positive. As far as the size of the plug goes it’s a little large and sticks out from the wall a ways I would say if the plug continues to be made in this size it might be nice to Have a side plug instead of from the front but this is only an issue for some of my plugs like behind a dresser or other plugs that I have an 3 plug extension plugged into it for multiple inputs. Meross gets at this with their double plug smart plug but it doesn’t fully fix a couple of my problems. I also enjoy that the plug has a manual button on it in case the plug is easy enough to just turn on rather than opening the app. I also like the ability to name each plug something different and create multiple automations for my different schedules. Overall this smart plug works really well for what I bought it for. I’m really pleased.

> 3 dayI haven’t had one last more than a year. Once in a while if it’s off line I’ll have to unplug and plug back in. Or I’ll have to reset completely. I have 4 that are 100% dead and can not connect. Tossed them.

> 3 dayI have around ten Meross smart items. A few Plugs and Blubs. When they stay connected and work, theyre truly amazing. But sadly, they often lose WIFI connection which requires a reset. Resetting the device is an absolute hassle as you need to delete the device(s) from the Meross or HomeKit app and then attempt to re-add them. Re-adding a device thats already been added can be a real headache as the connection will fail and claim the device already exists even though its been removed. I often need to complete the setup process many, many, many times before it will actually work and the device appears in my ecosystem again. When I finish writing this review, I need to attempt to reconnect 2 smart plugs and 1 bulb. This will be my fourth attempt this morning and the third time Ive had to do this process in the two weeks that Ive owned the devices. Be mindful, if you have MANY Meross devices, they all need to be connected/reconnected INDIVIDUALLY which can be time-consuming. Ill still continue to purchase Meross plugs and Bulbs but I honestly home the coming Firmware updates resolve this insanity.

> 3 dayPro: size - two plugs easily fit in a standard double outlet and on standard size power strip (on compact strips you would still be able to fit a two-prong plug next to it.) This is a huge improvement over the old TP-link plug that took up 2 spaces on my power strip even when it was placed on the top (see picture.) Operation & Integration - once connected the plug just work. I quickly forgot that they werent always there; waiting for my command. I can turn off all the lights in the house from the iphone flip-up screen. Installation - Like a lot of Meross products, the plug has EZ mode and AP mode. The detail instruction sheet takes you through EZ mode. However, the plugs were all in AP mode (slow blink) and I could not get it to blink fast even after 3 resets. Once you get over the fact that the instruction sheet is quite unhelpful and follow the instructions below, and you will find that installation is a breeze. 1. Plug it in. Make sure that the light blinks green/amber. If its steady green, as in a previous setup, press and hold the button for 5 seconds to get it into setup mode. 2. on you iPhone, go to Settings | Wireless. wait a few seconds until the plug shows up under the heading set up new device... The name is meross_sw_B210 or something similar... Click on it. 3. You now get a message that allows you to Add to Home & Wi-Fi (see picture.) Smash that link to turn on the camera and scan the top of the plug to add it into Homekit. 4. After about 30 seconds Homekit allows you to select the room and name of the new device. The phone automatically switch back to you home wireless network. cons: Not a huge issue, but the position of the button on the side of the plug could be challenging to your less techie household members. The ability to share homekit settings with everyone can mitigate the issue, but Im a bit concern that Ill get a talking-to the next time my wife tries to turn on the floor lamp in the den. I have a couple of floor lamps and my Roku device connected to plugs. No more having to get up to manually reset Roku. A voice command to Alexa does the trick. The 4th plug is connected to my electric tea kettle to schedule it for my morning brew (until I get a smart tea kettle, but thats a battle for another day.)

> 3 dayI started buying Meross Smart MiniPlugs about a year ago, attracted by their price, and a little nervous about their quality. I have found the MiniPlugs to be solidly built, relatively easy to set up, and have had no reliability issues. I also bought a smart wall switch and wall dimmer switch from Meross. Same good experience with both of those. Although I believe you can add these devices to Home without installing the Meross app, you will not be able to get upgraded firmware for the devices without having a Meross app and account. This is not a big issue - the app is free, and doesnt trouble you with notifications or junk mail, etc. Apple Home will tell you that a device update is available. You simply use the app, click update and its done. I bought another 4 mini plugs during a cyber Monday deal saving about $2 on each device. Even without the discount, these smart plugs are an excellent value.

> 3 dayI got these smart plugs to allow my parent’s to turn on some lights in their home using Siri. I was prepared with an older router to clone the details of their Google Internet mesh setup to allow the devices to connect to a 2.4ghz network for the initial setup (because so many smart plugs and devices out there are annoying in that they cannot setup directly onto a 5ghz network). I am VERY HAPPY to report that the Apple Kit setup option through the Meross app allowed me to SKIP ALL THAT! It is surprisingly nice when things work the way they should. Thank you to Meross for making a smart plug that is easy to setup on a Google mesh network (directly!). I’ve already ordered a second batch for my own home and will be trying one of their bulb products as well.

> 3 dayOwned these for a year. When they work, they’re great. But most of the time, they’re a headache. Getting them setup is a pain. It’s honestly a game of luck if they will connect or not. They are very picky about whether they will connect to your router. We switched routers twice this year, and they were not compatible with the new router for some unknown reason (?). The reason I got rid of these is because we switched to TMobile 5G internet. If you make the switch too, do NOT buy these plugs! They will not work with TMobile 5G for some reason. I got the new Wemo Thread-based plugs that do not use WiFi and they have been flawless. Spend the extra money to get the new Thread technology, especially if you have TMobile 5G.
