This is a very good product. Easy to use and has a very strong suction feature. I wish it had a way to get to the rotating bar to clean the brushes. Other than that, it is very effective.

I started out 16 years ago with a Dyson . Then another Dyson -which neither had the longevity like a Miele. I wasnt prepared to pay hundreds of dollars for a Miele so I have been through 2 crappy Hoovers recently until now. I started at the lower end of the Miele canisters and I am not disappointed. I love my Vaccuum! I got a great deal on Amazon!! I researched the heck out of the models. this Turbo classic c1 does the job well. I was also told by a reputable Vaccuum store to make sure my Miele was made in Germany not China. that was important info to pass along. I hope my review helps. I also have a very furry house so I would say the turbo c1 or the animal canister that has electro floorhead.

As all my floors are wooden/tile and a few area rugs I chose a canister over my old shark. I liked that my old shark had a dust cloth attachment with the hard floor attachment but could not find a good vacuum with that. That being said I was getting discouraged with the bagless vacs due to their ability to scatter dust when emptying, and their inability to carry parts beyond 3 years. My last cleaner prior to the 6 year old Shark was a Kirby, and while it was a pain to do hardwood floors, it was simple easy to get fixed (only 3 times due to human error) and it lasted 23 years. I wanted a vacuum that will, hopefully from the reviews, last longer than 6 years and that can get fixed by local vacuum store. I have used this 3 times and so far it works great, on board attachments make getting the mouldings and windowsills dusted quickly; it fits ALL the way under my sofa and the prior one did not. The biggest downfall is the cord is way to short and I must maneuver its locating to do my entire kitchen, living room, dining room, hallways, etc and we have an open floor plan. It is light, easy to store. The rug attachment with the beater brush is fair, however I have to put the suction level on quite low or the beater bar stops moving due to too much suction. Hopefully in [6] months I will let you know if there is less dust in my home and the cleaner stays in excellent working condition

I love the weight, maneurverability and suction of this vacuum. However, everytime I clean house, I have to cut the pet hair out of the beater of the floor head to pull the hair out. I did not buy the cat/dog model because it was over $200 more and my Kenmore cannister did not have this problem 70% of our flooring is hardwood and the remainder area rugs. I contacted Miele and there solution was to buy a special attachment. I dont want to use a hand attachment to clean my area rugs.

Good suction, best we’ve seen on a canister. Follows well on hard floors, brush for hard floors is nice - wide and gets up close to the wall - BUT the turbo head is surprisingly really very hard to push on low pile carpet, requires much force (two hands and lower suction) to move it on low pile carpet. The manual and various online videos give no clue of that issue at all. Power level dial seems to have no impact, especially the ‘Ear’ setting for “energy saving” supposedly quiet mode, is not any different in noise level. Came with only one dust bag. Seems a $400 vacuum should come with a HEPA bag, not give you a low end bag out the gate, forcing you to buy an aftermarket HEPA bag. Every new vacuum I’ve bought or shopped for in the last 20 years came with a HEPA bag. Why would the consumer NOT want a HEPA bag? Not good for carpet, excellent for bare floors.

I love this vacuum. It’s very strong but amazingly lightweight. I use it on my hardwood floors and low pile rugs. Because it is light, it’s easy on my wooden stairs as well. My only suggestion would to make the cord a bit longer.

Not worth the price. Cord too short. Exhaust blows up toward your face. My 40 year old Kenmore was far superior and way way cheaper. Sorry I bought it.

So far I love this vacuum. Had an upright Dyson for years which I disliked and it had gradually lost most of its suction. I missed having the maneuverability of the canister and reaching under furniture and whatnot. I was hesitant about using bags again but they hold quite a lot and I don’t have a constant dog smell in vacuum so definitely a bonus. The suction is incredibly strong and I love the feature of reducing it for carpets because it does indeed suck them up! My only dislike so far is that the floor brush is heavier than the handle part and it makes a strange balance. My arms hurt vacuuming the first couple times! I saw a couple comments in other reviews about the cord length being short but I don’t find this to be problematic at all. Highly recommend this vacuum, loved that it was not $800!

This is definitely the best vacuum for hard floors that Ive ever purchased. Since we put in LVP throughout most of our house, I found that the fabulous upright that we had (Riccar) just didnt do as good a job on the hard floors as it did on carpeting, even with the separately purchased floor attachment. However, finding the right Miele canister vacuum for my needs and budget was very time-consuming. I found that it was very difficult to tell if the reviews on Amazon matched a specific model or not. The Miele website was not much better, especially when I tried to determine what attachments went with what model. I wanted to know how effective the turbo brush was and if it was included in the particular models I was considering. What ultimately saved the day was being able to go in person to an appliance store that sold Miele vacuums. Unfortunately, the closest store to me did not happen to have any of the vacuums in stock, but the salesperson was able to print out a comparison sheet of the Classic C1 Turbo Team Powerline (SBANO) and Compact C1 Turbo Team Powerline (SCAE0), both of which appeared to be the best options for hard floors. Since there was about a $100 difference between them, I wanted to see if the extra cost was worth it for the Compact C1. Both appeared to be made in Germany, something that many of the Amazon reviews argued was important. It turns out that their specifications are almost identical. The Compact has a Stainless steel telescopic tube and the Classic has a Comfort compact telescopic tube, but its hard to see the difference. They both have the same operating radius (29 feet) and the same cord length of 18 feet. They take different filter bags, but the Classics bad volume is 4.8 qts. vs 3.7 for the Compact. The only other difference I could tell was that the nominal power consumption for the Classic is 1000 W while the Compacts is 1100 W. Since these differences seemed to favor the Classic, I decided to save $100 and purchase that. The Turbo brush was still a mystery, but both models offered that as well as a Parquet brush. I knew from the Riccar what a Parquet brush could do, and I figured that it would be at least adequate if the Turbo brush wasnt any good. It turns out that the Turbo brush is one of the best features of the vacuum. It makes vacuuming hard floors easier and super fast. I still use the tube by itself for the edges, but rely on the Turbo brush, especially for large areas. As I mentioned in the review title, I have a heavily shedding dog, a Newfoundland, and his hair has yet to cause problems with the Turbo brush. The brush is pretty loud when set at the highest suction setting, and it will not work on my kitchen stress relief mats except on the lowest suction setting. I do a good job vacuuming our bathroom mat with the parquet attachment and the middle to low setting without the mat getting sucked up. One of the reviews mentioned their vacuum bag filled up very fast, but Ive had the Miele Classic for almost three months and the bag has yet to fill up, even with my dog, In conclusion, you dont have to fork out extra money to get a great hard floor vacuum in the Classic C1 Turbo Team PowerLine, and youll probably agree that its definitely worth how much you do spend.

Our air-powered brush stopped turning, YouTubed ST305 diassembly and I found out that theres a flaw that requires you to take it apart and if you dont you can burn out / melt the side bearings with hair getting in there EVEN IF you clean the brush head everytime with a knife. Bad design. Or maybe its normal. Clearly well built, works decently, high priced, bags... you can try to skimp but eh. Iono. Used for 2.5 years and is very powerful. Just downside is it cant really do thick carpet that well, have to pull back only, cant push forward with the brush head since it isnt truly motor powered - only powered by air moving through a ... think water/windmill style front. Expensive but seems good in the ways youd expect it to be performance. Removed 2 star for poor maintenance/design in what I mentioned.

The Miele Classic C1 Turbo Team is a lightweight, but powerful bagged canister vacuum. Multifloor cleaning with a turbobrush floorhead for low-medium pile carpet and parquet floorhead for hard floors. 3-tiered filtration system with AirClean Filter. Three additional cleaning tools included for a whole home clean.
