Mighty Mule Wireless Digital Keypad (FM137)

This is a must have for your gate. As some said there is a light. I have seen folks in the country mount them on a wood post with a birdhouse or the like above them, providing shade to see the light and additional sunlight and heat protection. It probably helps the internal circuitry as well as batt ery life. As to the commenter who said their friends get out and yank on the gate - I say that would be the last time they would EVER be invited back over to my place. No doubt any friend doing that is a complete idiot and has no idea what kind of time, etc. it takes to maintain anything around the property. Get new friends, I say!

Very disappointed in this replacement. Supposed to be the replacement for our existing gate system but would not operate the gate after programming and installation.

Product arrived quickly & thankfully instructions came w product to help me set it up to my already existing gate arm. My arm is a older Mighty Mule 360 & this replaces my digital pad that was corroded.

Works

I was able to get this working when wired to my gate opener (Aleko AR1450). I had tried to get this to work wirelessly, but I suspect that the frequencies are different. This has been a recurring problem for my gate opener adventures with Amazon. Many of the openers, remotes and other products have no information on what frequency ranges they support. This one appears to only support 318 Mhz. The Aleko gate and openers run on 433.92 Mhz. But it was relatively easy to get this working when wired. After I planned how to run my wires the rest was simple. Now it works, but since it is wired it would be pretty easy to hotwire.

Could not get this unit to open gate with wireless function. I had to hard wire unit for it to work.

This is a great addition to the MIghty Mule Gate Opener. Its programming options have allowed us to put in a variety codes to allow access to gardeners, utility companies, and friends without us being home.
