This device has been running on the same batteries for almost two years with multiple uses every day! I love not having to worry about friends and family not being able to gain access to my property without me or the wife being home. Can store temporary pass codes for events or multiple codes for different people. Nice also to be able to give your gate code to emergency responders so they can gain entry in case of an emergency if your not home. Lots of peace of mind! My key entry is 20 ft from the reciever. I wish it was a metal housing but its fairly robust for plastic. Backlit keypad makes night use easy.

My gate keeps opening on its own. The guy who installed it is long gone and I have no way of figuring out how to program it. Is there tech support?

I got this one and a slightly different model from HD. The other model stopped working the first week and has been replaced already. This one, now on its 3 week, just works. Easy to program, easy to work, no problems with it. Get this one! Not that other Mighty Mule model.

The unit works well. The only negative thing is it only allows a 4 digit pass code setting. I bought this to replace my older (25 years) Mighty Mule Wireless Digital Keypad which I had entered more than 4 digit code. So I will have to inform varies people a new code. I could continue to use the old one and send this new one back, probably not. Seems Mighty Mule went backwards on this.

After 8 years of the elements, my original Mighty Mule keypad finally gave out. I thought it would be a hassle reprogramming my gate clickers and setting the new gate code to the new keypad but it wasnt. Total project time of maybe 5 minutes.

I bought two of these to replace two older Mighty Mule keypads I installed at our ranch three years ago. The old units worked great but after three years, both were weathered and had UV deterioration so I decided to be proactive and replace them before something went wrong. I also bought two new remote gate openers to install in our vehicles. I set the dip switches in the remotes to the same settings we have in our old remotes (they too are still working great) but... These new digital keypads WILL NOT program and open our gates. We followed the instructions sent in the package and that didt work. I even downloaded the instructions to ensure that we had the right ones, and after numerous attempts to program these two new wireless keypads over the course of several days, NO LUCK. I think our old ones were made in the USA and the new ones are now made in China. Calling the toll-free number only resulted in hearing a ring tone then voice mail and then waiting - waiting - waiting and we gave up being on hold. One reviewer stated they only work with batteries (double AA) but they do have the provision to be hard-wired. Speaking of hard its hard (or as many reviewers state here) impossible to get these to work in a wireless configuration as stated here on the sellers listing.

The keypad works great so far. I do wish it had a cover to protect the buttons. Not sure how they are going to hold up in the sun. Other than that Im very happy with it.
