This works just as advertised.

Used this on my asus laptop because headphone jack that came with it stop working. It was an easy fix to plug this into a USB port so I could listen to music again.

I got this so I could use my gaming headset with both my PC and PS4 hooked up to a USB switch. It works perfectly and has fairly decent audio quality for less than ten dollars. It is limited to DVD Quality at 48000 Hz on Windows 10 however. This adapter also supports several Windows 10 enhancements such as Bass Boost, Loudness Equalization, and Virtual Surround which do help the sound quality. Not as good as the headphone jack on my computer, but the convenience of having USB is worth it.

Worked okay until it stopped working. Ive had this cord for about a month now and though the audio I hear out isnt the absolute best I can deal with it because its a 10 dollar adapter cord I bought off of amazon. But just recently it broke. It has a short in it and makes this horrible high pitched staticky noise. Dont know if Ill be buying another one. May just have to look for a usb pair of headphones or something.

I use this with my computer at work that is hooked to a docking station. Before using this I was having sound and mic quality issues on Teleconferences. Now these issues are gone.

This was plug and play on my Ubuntu laptop. I only use it for audio output and it works with plugging a standard headphone plug into it without using a TRRS adapter (however, if you accidentally select it as your input and go into Discord or something the other party will hear an interference sound). I havent used it with a TRRS but I suspect it would work fine and the inputs show up as options for me on Ubuntu as well.

Not very good user instructions. Implies that there is a driver needed but none found on their website. Reached out to support with no response. I ended up figuring it out myself but was close to thinking it was a dude

I don’t know if I got a faulty one or not but it had a wearied buzzing sound even after trying different ports

Not stable device. During a conversation, it works fine initially, then suddenly, the mic not working, the other party can not hear the conversation suddenly. It repeated in this way multiple times. Tried second one, behavior the same. Not recommended. unfortunately, missed the return window. -Updates: I adjusted the rating to 3 because of sellers excellent customer service. Although the return window was missed, they still reached out to me to provide full refund to me after my review.

Only just took delivery of this cable, but it appears to be a very well made item, and I look forward to using it.
