The 3.5 jack didnt insert the last sleeve, it felt like the jack had bottomed out as if the female end wasnt deep enough. I re-read the description that said it would take the TRRS jack. After twisting, turning and pushing the jack harder, it snapped in and works fine. It appears the Dell e6540 sound system is not stereo capable, USB or 3.5 pin. My Win 7 and a Beta Win 10 e6430 latitudes deliver great stereo from YouTube videos, with and without the converter.

I have a very old set of Bose computer with the old audio jack plug…I needed something to bridge the old and new tech, and this worked like a charm. I have expected it to not work, or that I would need some plug-in software or whatever…but it was plug and play. Good stuff and I recommend this for anyone who has a situation like I described.

Used this to plug my Bose laptop speakers into a docking hub at work. Noticeable better sound than straight out of the laptop internal sound card, and plugging in ONE thing to run multiple monitors and speakers is convenient as my laptop is constantly in and out of office with me. If you need one, just buy it.

Don’t really need now finally got Bluetooth HP’s That work with New Samsung TV’s No way to Use3.5” cables anymore. I have spent a fortune to try to get all my equipment to work with HDMI Ports- Splitting lines with 2- way spillers nothing Really works. I need to get my AT & T TV Guy out here. At least my sets are working plus now I can use headphones for later at night.

I used this cable to connect audio from my microphone to my computer. It works great and the sound quality was not downgraded. I like the aluminum connections and quality cable so there is not cracking or breaking issues due to constant flexing.

This rocks and is well worth the money.

This is a convenient little cable. I bought 4 of them. You dont always have an audio jack but you usually have a USB jack. This cable makes it convenient.

I use this with my work headphones in order to teach classes. I did not lose any clarity with the jack and my students hear me perfectly when talking and I can understand all of them when they speak now. My computer speaker was not allowing me to hear voices as clearly as I needed.

Only just took delivery of this cable, but it appears to be a very well made item, and I look forward to using it.
