> 24 hourThis is a great tool. Id never replaced my own chain before but after purchasing a bike for the track decided to do as much of the work on it as I could myself. The OEM chain was showing rust and the stock sprockets needed to go. Took my time and using this tool installed a 520 DID x-ring chain. This tool worked exactly as expected, I think many of the failures you read about from consumer chain tools are due to improper use and care. Some tips: use a Dremel tool to cut the old chains rivet heads, then using this tool its easy to break the chain. YOU MUST LUBRICATE THIS TOOL. You will be putting a LOT Of force on the threads on this tool, the oil that it comes in is light and just there to prevent corrosion, it will not lubricate it. Coat the threads thoroughly with a fairly heavy grease (I used some old Rock Shox Judy Butter), this will keep things moving and prevent binding under stress. Also, to flare the rivets you will be using a good amount of force, plan on using a breaker bar or strong ratchet/wrench. Finally, the specifications for how much to flare the rivet are very precise and you will need a digital caliper if youre going to make an accurate reading.

> 24 hourIn trying to press the rivet in place on the chain, I bent the little screw in leverage handle. Works fine for what it is, but you have to put a ton of force into the rivet though.

> 24 hourThe tool works great but us easiest to use if you put it in a vise.

> 24 hourI have worked on bicycles my whole life and after spending a fortune to let the dealer put on a new chain and sprockets for me I figured it was time to learn how to do it myself. I watched the Motion Pro video on YouTube and followed their instructions. I was able to push the pin out of my 525 chain with very little effort. The pressing went perfectly and I measured with a cheap Amazon set of calipers. The press part was easy, you just have to remember to go a little at at time and just dont crush down. This tool is the bomb and worth the money.

> 24 hourWorks, but cheaply built the threads are already starting to gall after pushing only one link!

> 24 hourThe headline says it all. This tool is probably overkill for my once or twice a year chain breaking needs, but cheap tools are more trouble than theyre worth, so Im glad I bought this one.

> 24 hourThe tool appears to be realatively well made---not Snap On quality but not Chinese junk either. It does not have the rough cast look like the cheaper tools offerd on the market. I am pleased so far, The proof in often in the quality of the material and the all important heat treatment. Have not used yet---we will see.
