used it for 2 chains, one on my ATV and one on my motorcycle. It really works great.

I wish i had bought this one first. Spend the money and get this one. Durable and fool proof. Does not walk at all when tightening like cheaper ones will. Where you put it, it stays. Have used it a few times already with no problems. It comes in a nice case and pre lubed. Keep it lubed.

It did the job for breaking and settling links well. Hollow rivet it’s kind of struggled with as the twist motion wanted to pull to one side making rivet lop sided. I lubed tool but seems like it needs to be broken in more. Also pins get stuck with 525 chain.

Just follow the instructions that come with the product

This works a treat. Lube those threads so the pin doesnt break. That seems to be one of the main reasons why pins break. Also... despite them saying its not necessary to grind, I would suggest you do if you have a dremel or file handy. In the field, youll have to just risk it. Even for a snap-ring master link, this makes getting even pressure a cinch so you dont risk nicking it up with pliers. Heavy. This will put quite a bit of weight in your pack if you are a light packer like me. I wouldnt consider it a travel tool. Very handy for the garage though.

Awesome tool for the price simple easy to read instructions. Well manufactured . Close tolerances. Nice finish. This tool will outlive me. Hard to find something like this today at this price
