Mungyo Gallery Soft Oil Pastels Set of 48 - Assorted Colors

Im absolutely in love with these oil pastels. They are a nice quality and easy to work with and leave a nice light finish. I love the assortment of colors that come with this set. A great addition to an artists toolbox or for someone just looking to experiment.

Very nice colours, the oil pastels have a lot of crumbs all over the floor, making it hard for me to clean the floor

You will not be disappointed.. This is my second time buying these oil pastels... Vibrant colors, smooth and full of pigment.. worth the price and just as good if not better than the fancy ones that start with the letter S...

I’m new to oil pastels but I’ve researched a lot when I wanted to try. I tried to be really frugal in the beginning and bought a HIGHLY reviewed, very cheap brand. I wasn’t excited when I started experimenting with them. I find them hard to blend. So on to a slightly higher priced set and I chose these. I couldn’t be happier with these oil pastels. They are creamy, blend with ease and packed with gorgeous color. My only regret is not buying the 72 color set. Please if you love color and want more than 48 just buy the 72 set because you will not regret it.

I am pleased to confirm the reports of others, that Mungyo Gallery Soft Oil Pastels are inexpensive and have good working characteristics. More creamy and less crumbly than (for example) Cray-Pas Expressionist, comparable to Neopastel but far less pricey.

I did my research and these pastels didn’t disappoint. They are soft and pigmented just like I expected them to be. I recommend these to both beginners and pros.

Great value. Much softer and creamier than other oil pastels in this price range. Heavy pigmentation, not very waxy, blend fairly easily. My one major complaint is the lack of pinks. Theres only one, a light pink. No cool reds, either. There are TWELVE greens...but only one pink? Thats a problem. Quality is great, but they definitely need to rethink the color range.

They are just as described. The colors are great, and easy to get used to. I would recomend them.
