Really soft and creamy . I can easily blend these colors . I read the reviews both positive and negative and even searched other art websites and these where highly recommended for beginners.

These are very soft, so I combined them with other media for detailed work on art pieces...

First time I tried oil pastels and I love it. Quality is great, these are professional artist grade pastels very affordable.

i was really surprised at the creaminess, and smoothness of these. they were so easy to spread out, and i did not do a lot of blending but they did well with what little i did. i also used with a wax pencil and they worked great with the,. have not tried with my other oil pastels Lyraca? and Faber Castile? i think is what i have. i have so many brands i get them mixed up. there was some crumbling but not a lot. i do highly recommend getting these. i will in time order more.

Im very pleased with Mungyo Gallery Soft Oil Pastels. They are so easy to blend, and there is a large variety of useful colors in this set of 48. Ive had to replenish the white and black, which is normal for any set to run out of those two colors, but Ive found a local store that carries individual colors so its been easy. Oil Pastels is my medium of choice, and Ive produced about 150 pictures with this set and theres still a lot of product remaining to do about another 150 pictures!
