Outgrew my 8 port switch, and this 16 port does the job nicely.

It’s not bad

This router failed about 7 weeks after I received it. Not a big deal, stuff happens. All electronics have some infant mortality. I was outside of the Amazon return window but started a chat with Amazon to see what my options were. They conference called me with Netgear support. We were bounced around thru 2 agents (with hold times) and finally ended up with one that handled the proper product line. She proceded to read from her script on trouble shooting and did not listen to me when I explained my issue and how it was being used. Router --> switch -->> computers. She kept wanting me to open a browser when connected to the switch. I kept telling her that if connected to the switch I could not open a browser and connect to any website. If I connected directly to the router, it worked fine. If I substitued a different network switch which I had on hand, it worked fine. If I put the Netgear switch back, it failed. She wanted me to use a different cable. I tried to explain that was not possible since the cables ran thru the walls of the house. She put me on hold and (after an hour on the phone with them), I told the Amazon agent that I just was going to give up and buy another switch since my time was worth more than this $22 switch. He offered to take it back even out of the return window with a $4 restocking fee. I snapped that up and we disconnected from Netgear. Anyway, the switch worked well until it failed. Dealing with Netgear support was a joke.

I like it!

Used this to hardwire my office for telework in the new world of COVID. The switch works great. My VPN connection is as solid as can be expected considering my ISP and employer... Im a happy teleworker.

Easy to setup and configure

Setup was a breeze and it works even better than I had hoped for. I was so easy I dont understand why I didnt get one long before I did.

Was a plug and play situation. No issues with hook up and works great!

Works just fine. No problems or complaints on my end.

I am just using this in a home application. Very reliable, easy to install. Super easy way to add extra ports to my home Gigabit networks. Metal case is nice addition.
