Nintendo NFC Reader/Writer Accessory - Nintendo 3DS

The packaging was in English. Which doesnt effect the product at all. I was just expecting the packaging used to describe the product. The NFC reader comes with batteries which is great. I was worried about that.

After buying this item amiibo quickly moved from the second dimension and started their conquest of the third dimension. All hope is lost. But seriously, this item works really well. Its a good alternative to buying the NN3DSXL.

Bought this for my daughter who loves the Amiibos and she was so excited to be able to use them on her 3DSXL as well as her WiiU!

I recommend this to people like me that dont want to buy a New Nintnedo 3ds, but still want to use amiibos. I used my amiibos for Fire Emblem Fates just in case anyone was wondering

For people like me who dont want to invest in a new 3DS, this works perfectly for games that support Amiibos. I bought it for Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam and havent come across any issues. Like other Nintendo accessories, this was cheaper to buy as an import from Japan. Will work regardless of the region of your 3DS.

Unfortunately it is not needed with the newer 3DS XL, which is what I bought it to go with. Probably my fault for not researching more. But cant hold that against the product. It works as advertised with our older 3DS devices that have Bluetooth capabilities.

I bought this a year ago and it’s still working with the same battery and has no problems. If you can’t find it in stores like me this is definitely the way to go.
