Nintendo NFC Reader/Writer Accessory - Nintendo 3DS

Works great and its super light. Its also relatively small which is great for travel. The packaging has easy-to-follow instructions and it reads amiibo quickly and clearly!

Needed for amibos. My daughter uses it. Works fine.

Bought this to use with my 3DS which did not have this capability in the software when I bought it. I have bought two amiibos and am currently using one. Everything works great. I am very happy with my purchase.

My kid doesnt use it but thats not your fault. Its the universes.

Glad I was able to get a hold of this product. I just purchased the new version of Metroid and the Amiibos that went with it, but I have an older 3DS that does not have the reader built in. I didnt want to purchase a new system, so I bought this product instead. I was a little surprised that I received the non-English version of packaging since the listing also had an English version, but it still works as expected and was able to set it up without any issues. Works exactly as I needed.

This allows my 3ds XL (pre Amiibo) to read the Animal Crossing Amiibo cards perfectly. Totally easy to use, just turn it on and sit it where the 3ds can see it.

NFC for the 3DS readers are getting harder and harder to find for those that have the old 3DS. If you are considering getting this, I would go ahead and purchase it before the price goes up even further. I purchased mine used and it works perfectly.

For people like me who dont want to invest in a new 3DS, this works perfectly for games that support Amiibos. I bought it for Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam and havent come across any issues. Like other Nintendo accessories, this was cheaper to buy as an import from Japan. Will work regardless of the region of your 3DS.
