Nintendo NFC Reader/Writer Accessory - Nintendo 3DS

My daughter loves the NFC reader, I was a little miffed when I found it for its regular price ($20) at a local Fred Meyer but I suppose it was my fault for paying $30 because I bought it near Christmas. Oh well. Shop around to get the best deal, I wouldnt spend more than $20 if I were you!

Works just as intended. Came brand new and undamaged so also a plus. (Not that Ive ever had anything come in damaged before.) Using it for Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer, and New Leaf.

For pre- near field communication devices like older 3ds. Must have for amiibos to work

Bought this as a gift for Christmas. My niece loves it.

Item worked well with the Nintendo 3DS. My daughter has a whole new game now with new characters and new features.

It works well, as is easy to use. Im stilled pissed off from finding out that the 2DS didnt have the reader built-in like the 3DS.

Syncs very easily to your 3ds and works great. Dont have to go out and buy a new 3DS just for amiibo support, you only need 20 bucks for this thing.

There were a lot of questions about compatibility I had to do a lot of googling about before pulling the trigger. If someone had taken the more common questions and added the answers to the description this would have been a no-brainer. If you plan on keep your older xDS hardware around and use amiibos then you need this. Luckily the NEW 3DSes and the soon to be released NEW 2DS have this function built in.
