This thing is silent and was in my first ever gaming/streaming pc build. When I first powered on my pc, I thought my rear fan wasnt working. I turned it off and saw the fans was slowly spinning down and was amazed that it was on and working after all. It keeps my case cool too, so i recommend it. I have a 5900x, Strix 3070, Dark Hero MOBO, ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 360 and Cooler Master MasterBox TD500 Mesh White Airflow ATX Mid-Tower.

Its just what I expected. High quality good noise level little plastic thingies that add color are cool. I have never been disappointed by their products.

Fan will not start on my ASRock Phantom 7 board at or below 34% power. The fan will start at 35% (580 RPM) and can be turned down to 33% (550 RPM), at 32% the fan will stop. I have no need for my fans to run this low so this will not stop me from purchasing these again but thought others should know if they are expecting the listed 300 RPM minimum.

BLACK FANS FROM NOCTUA? Runs quiet-ish. Under full load they can get noticeably loud, not as loud as my last ones so i guess thats an improvement. Dropped my GPU temps a bit under load too.

The most important thing to know is that these are 4-pin fans, meaning they need PWM control from the motherboard. I initially installed these on my old motherboard that only had 3-pin connectors and these suckers were LOUD. They ran at full speed and it sounded like a server. Once I got a motherboard that allowed support for the 4-pin connectors, these have turned out to be the most quiet fans that Ive heard in a computer, and I work in IT deploying a bunch of desktops. When you *do* hear the fans, its a low hum as opposed to a whine or like a badly tuned turbo. I have been recommending these to others that I know who are looking to upgrade their builds.

The fan is great. I used it to replace the worn out Hyper212 Evos stock fan. My only gripe with this is the way the pad look as it has two antenna like thing protruding inward to hold it into place.
