I used this fan to cool down my HP Omen 30L (a PC thats notorious for overheating issues) and this helped a lot as an exhaust fan. My CPU in particular cooled down by 5 degrees Celsius with this single fan. Its quiet, easy to install, and efficient. Not much more to say about it, Noctua makes a great product.

This things are only audible at max speed, the rest of the time they are ultra quiet and effective. I plan on buying more. Also, they can throttle down to 0, which with some hardware, such as GPUs, can be very helpful as the card simply isnt under enough of a load for many tasks to wind up the fan, and if you have a very cool case, fans like this one need only spin at 100-300 rpm, which is essentially TOTALLY silent. Its a true delight to work around the machine - you can forget the computer is even on.

I originally purchase this to replace the original fan on my CM Hyper 212 Evo. At first feel, this fan feels quality. Plastic and weight is beefy and heavier. After installing the fan to the CPU Heatsink, noticed some harmonic resonance through my case. Loosen the screws solved the problem. With my FD Define R4 case, it is dead silent from 6 feel away.

Very pleased with everything about these fans (I ordered 4). I went with the very basic 1500 option on them and it has dropped the temps as a whole very well. I am not considering looking into the Noctua cpu cooler. Would 100 percent recommend these to anybody wanting quietness, performance, and quality.

replaced top exhaust 92 mm with 120 mm and added front 120 mm as well. these are la few dollars more then the other quality fans but I like the cromax anti vibration pads and this is top of the line

The chromax is very similar in quality to the regular noctua.. except:

Great fan, Im using two of these on an Arctic Accelero III on a 1070. The previous 120mm fans would keep the GPU between 60-70c. Now the GPU is running at between 50-60c at full load. Both sets of fans were running on low speed to keep noise to a minimum.

I spent more on Noctua fans than my Lian Li case cost to build my newest rig. Ok, they are really expensive fans, but if you value a quiet system that can continue to cool effectively, I would not trust my gaming computer to anything less than Noctua fans.
