Noctua NF-F12 PWM chromax.Black.swap, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (120mm, Black)

Im a tremendous fan (steady) of Noctua products. They are my preferred cooling solution. This CPU cooling fan doesnt change that opinion. Why 4 stars then? Anti-vibration pads. The Noctua NF-A15 HS-PWM chromax.Black.swap I bought a few months back came with 8 each of the 5 different color options - and looks great as part of its computers color theme. This Noctua NF-F12 PWM chromax.Black.swap comes with 4 each. Nitpicky, maybe. But every time I looked at that computer Id see the mismatched pads on the corners of the fan, which as you know is seen front and center. I ended up buying Noctua NA-SAVP1 chromax accessory pads so I could fix the issue and return serenity. Which also means I ultimately paid more for this 120mm NF-F12 than the140mm NF-A15.

Just like the title says, two of the three chromaxes I ordered are failing after six months. The fans will spin up and then come to a halt and tick like a fan thats not getting enough start current, but if you unplug them and plug them back in, they will start up again. Definitely not the kind of quality Ive come to expect from Noctua. Stick with the normal colored ones, those never die.

Got this to give my Noctua CPUI cooler extra cooling. Its so quiet adding this barely add more noise to my computer. Great airflow! One of the best PC fan out there

Every time I build now, every fan in the rig gets swapped out for a Noctua. Quiet Quiet Quiet. I was so happy when they started producing the black ones.

Wonder as always with a Noctua product. Very high quality.

These are the best fans you can buy. Only downside is there is no RGB version for themed builds.

Its just what I expected. High quality good noise level little plastic thingies that add color are cool. I have never been disappointed by their products.

This was the last of 5 noctua chromax fans to finish my fan swap. Desktop now is quieter, and a little cooler!
