> 3 dayBye bye brown. I needed a fan for another build and decided to upgrade my main desktop with a black fan for the Noctua NH-U12S CPU cooler. Same quiet performance just not brown. I did miss that it only comes with 4 of each color of the vibration pads although going back and reading, I see where they mentioned buying an additional set for matching color. I did not get that the first time around. It was not a problem for me as I used the black set as the other color.

> 3 dayMy observations about the Noctua NF-F12 PWM... Great quality. Quiet but not silent. Cools my gaming desktop better than cheap fans while running 300 rpm slower. ie, they push more air. The sound I do hear is much more pleasant than cheap fans ie, lower pitch. Noctua makes 3 and 4 pin in line wire adapters. available on Amazon that contain a resistor to slow the fans down about 300 rpm. Combined with a fan controller like the NZXT can really quiet your system. I will only use Noctua fans in any gaming desktops that I build in the future.

Greater than one weekI first want to say that these fans are amazing. I always heard about Noctuas but never needed them bc i was using Mac products(mbp and mac mini). I recently decided rather than upgrading my mac mini, ill build an Hackintosh. I cant imagine build any kind of pc without these fans. Low noise was a major concern when building and i want to say that these reduced noise levels to a minimum. I have 4 Noctuas in my build and i can describe the sound as a low breeze. I honestly forget that the computer is in my room. The reason that i give it 4/5 is bc you have to buy anti vibration and y cables separately!!! What type of nonsense is that!? why not include 4 anti vibrations and 1 y cable in each package and just raise the price by a dollar or 2! I had to wait a whole 24 hours to get these essentials smfh

> 3 dayVery pleased with everything about these fans (I ordered 4). I went with the very basic 1500 option on them and it has dropped the temps as a whole very well. I am not considering looking into the Noctua cpu cooler. Would 100 percent recommend these to anybody wanting quietness, performance, and quality.

> 3 dayUsing this with a hyper 212 black RGB. This fan makes overclocking easy. Its dead silent. The chromax is a bonus since it blends in much better than the older style.

> 3 dayThermalTake fan in my desktop tower was making a lot of noise after one year. WD-40 made it quieter; however, after a lot of research, decided on this companys reputation for quiet and long-lasting fans. Since the installation, my tower is somewhat quieter. Would like a higher fan speed in RPMs, but it seems to be keeping the case pretty close in temperature to the fan I replaced.

> 3 daythese fans made my Thermaltake water 3.0 240mm AIO perform better and be quieter than with the fans it came with

> 3 dayHad to use this for the front fan of my Noctua DH15 so I could fit better memory in. Works great!
