Noctua NH-D15, Premium CPU Cooler with 2X NF-A15 PWM 140mm Fans (Brown)

Intels mounting designs have always been absolute garbage. You would think Noctua would be able to improve on this, but with a complete lack of testing in the design they failed for the simplest and laziest of reasons.

You really dont get much better air cooling than this, and its as good as quite a few water coolers.

ho un processore amd fx 9370... una dei processori più bollenti che possano esistere in questo universo... dico solo che sono passato da un raffreddamento a liquido a doppia ventola a questo dissipatore ad aria... non ci potevo credere che tra benchmark ed altro, questo dissipatore aveva linciato oltre 12-15 gradi, e siamo in estate... da 75-80 gradi a liquido a massimo 66 ad aria... fantastico... fatto tutto divinamente tra materiali plastici (ventole) e dissipatore.... sono fermamente convinto che possa battere la maggior parte dei dissipatori che ci sono in commercio tra aria e liquido... ovviamente parlo anche di temperature da record in overclock :).....

this thing is HUGE. but it makes your temps sooo low. i used both fans in my set up and i cant even hear it.

I put my cpu under load and it never got above a whisper and temps stayed at 58 C max. Its awesome.

Die Montage gestaltete sich anfänglich etwas schwierig, da es kleine Ungenauigkeiten in der Montageanleitung gibt. Youtube-Videos haben hier geholfen. Meine CPU i5 6600k betreibe ich jetzt sehr stabil auf 4,7Ghz (ca 1,24 V) und sie wird nie wärmer als 65 °C (Vollast - CPU-intesives Gaming) und das obwohl mein Gehäuse über keinen Gehäuselüfter verfügt. Mit 89€ liegt das Gerät preislich deutlich über der Konkurenz (z.B. Dark Rock 4 PRO) , die Leistung kann sich aber sehen lassen. Kaufempfehlung!

The install of this heat sink is very easy, and it comes with its own thermal grease, which is of high quality. I had it mounted in about 5 minutes. You may want to plug things into your mainboard while its outside the case, though. This thing is enormous, as it needs to be. In my Antec Sonata case I did not have room to mount a second fan on the heat sink. I think the second fan is unnecessary given the excellent performance. Check measurements before you buy, especially if you want to OC and you really need that second fan.

put on a 5820k with a 500mhz overclock, idle temp 9 degrees over ambient, full load 28 degrees over ambient, it barley fits in my C70 vengeance case, will not fit in anything smaller, does cover ram (use ram without vertical heat spreaders and install ram first), will block top pci slot in certain orientations.

Really high quality product, replaced my Corsair H100i GT and my system is much quieter for it.
