> 3 dayI have this running on a I9-10020x it is by far one of the best air coolers out there. I have seen it perform better than some liquid cooling, and damn near as good as a custom loop except when both are under max load. If you just want a simple cooler that mounts easy and works look no further.

> 3 dayKeeps my system nice and cool. I used the thermal paste that came with the cooler and it’s been very good with my system betting able the stay overclocked without the noise being loud or annoying.

> 3 dayThis block keeps my 2600k at 29c idle and hardly go over 50c while gaming. I was skeptical about air cool at first coming from a h60. It worked great and exceeded my expectations. The only thing to complain is the design and does not look clean as AIO. Highly recommended if you are willing to sacrifice the interior abit. I can always put some leds around it to make it look abit nicer i guess.

> 3 dayI had a close system water cooler that was failing only 1.5 years after I bought my computer. It would idle at 95 C. With this, I idle at 40 C, and hope to not have to replace it for many more years than 1.5.

> 3 dayHave to admit was a little intimidated by the size of this cooler out of the box, but it sure keeps my 5800X cpu cool. Ran a stress test and some gaming and temps averaged 20 degrees lower than max temp. Very happy.

20-11-2024Just like the older NH-D14 model, the spring-screws that pin the heatsink on top of the CPU are really difficult to install; you have to carefully balance them and apply a lot of force. It is still a very bulky air-cooler that is mostly suited for larger cases.

> 3 dayI live just under 500 miles from the equator. Here, it is always hot (30-35c), and always humid (60-80%). Albeit my room is air conditioned, in order to be cost effective, my room varies from 24c at night to 26c during the day. So, I needed a reliable cooler to preserve the longevity of my Intel 6 core chip, which I dearly love. The stock cooler that came with it kept my CPU at about 40c. I then purchased an AI0 H60 from Corsair. It kept my CPU temp at about 35c, better yes, but not quite good enough for me. I then purchased the Noctua NH-D15. It keeps my CPU temp at 30c, perfect! I thought about buying double or even triple radiator liquid cooling, but the cost can get expensive. Not only that, but I really dont like the idea of liquid inside my electronics. Since I installed the NH-D15 and observed 30c, I cant even say they would have done as good a job, expensive or not. I can say that Noctua makes the absolute best air coolers, bar none! Be advised, the cooler is BIG. Do your due diligence when selecting the right case, motherboard, and ram. I have been building my own PCs since 1995 and I am very aware of my current case and ALL its dimensions. I did not purchase this on Amazon as it was cheaper to get it locally. As a long time buyer on Amazon, I thought I would share my findings here. In the end, if you are looking for the best air cooler, Noctua is the way to go, and if youre looking for the best budget air cooler, Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo it the way to go.

> 3 dayThis is the older version of Noctua they do not include the LGA 1700 brackets! DO NOT buy from this supplier if youre looking to get the newer revision of the fan! Do not be fooled by the description claiming it includes the 1700 kit, it doesnt!
