Nova Development US, Print Artist Platinum 25

I really like this program. I use it to do bulletins for church. The problem is that after you save the same document 3-5 times, when you open it to do updates it crashes. I have had to uninstall and reinstall this program repeatedly. I got this in Novemeber and paid 39.95 for it but Ive reached the end of my rope with it and Im now looking for a new product. I would never reccomend this to anyone.

Using AliveChat with Nova they have confirmed you need Internet access.

Very detailed application. Once you get familiar with you do very creative work.

When trying to download the software, it had me enter the registration info... I entered the registration code where it asked for a serial # since there was no other serial 3 in the case. It would keep saying it was invalid. I looked up the Nova tech support, but you have to pay to speak to anyone on the phone. Its one big scam. Do NOT BUY THIS!!!!!

Bought this to use in card making. Card formats arent easy to determine unless youre intimately familar with sizes based on Avery card sizes. ALSO I found a bug in the software (the import a graphic funciton that SHUTS THE PROGRAM DOWN) after an upgrade to Win 10 and reported it in November 2021. I had to send them PROGRAM DUMPS to convince them its their problem. They finally admitted it, but dont seem to be working on the problem. For those who are programmers, there is an Application Failure on this command: ShowDialog=>GetShellItemForPath. They have not bothered to fix it so far.

This version is not as good as the one put out by Sierra. We went back to the old version. When you select something, you may get something else.

Ive used Print Artist for 15 years and things worked well. Then I got a new PC which has Win 8. Print Artist 23 runs fine on Win 7 and should have worked on Win 8 like my other software. However Print Artist 25 which is supposed to be compatible with Win 8 was trouble from the beginning. It wouldnt install so that the top and bottom toolsbars show. I called tech support they wanted as much for tech support as I paid for the program. Dell tech support realized that Print Artist 25 will only display correctly with a 1 or 2 pixel settings. I made 3 cards and the next problem surfaced. Id try to make a card and the program displayed PRINT ARTIST HAS STOPPED WORKING. This time there wasnt a solution. I returned the program within the 90 day warranty and that is nothing but a scam. Forget about getting your money back. Nova Development needs to be sued.
