NOW Supplements, Magnesium 400 mg, Enzyme Function*, Nervous System Support*, 180 Veg Capsules

I took this to help me with fertility (not sure if it has helped that or not) but will now never stop taking it because it helps me sleep. I have no problem falling asleep but staying asleep until the alarm is a big issue for me. When I take this medicine before bed (1 pill) I wake up a lot less and go back to sleep a lot quicker. My sleep is so much better now, even if it isnt perfect. If I forget to take it one night, there is a noticeable difference. Ive tried melatonin and it did not seem to help my sleep at all.

Took this for about a week and it made me feel very sick. Bloated, cramping, nausea, you name it. I then did my research on the types of magnesium included in this supplement and they are not recommended by doctors due to poor absorption, laxative qualities, and unhealthy ingredients (similar to aspartame). Will be throwing this away.

I dont take this every day, but I should. I can tell the difference when I take this vitamin. I feel better and have more energy.

So Im usually happy with this brand of magnesium, but the last bottle I got has a strange odor and funky, salty taste. Ive taken two of them, both at night when I wasnt fully paying attention, and each time I thought... yuck!! I finally checked this bottle out and compared it with another unopened bottle I had on hand. Something is definitely wrong with this bottle, although Im pleased that it didnt make me sick. So normally a good brand, but perhaps a bad batch? Lot# 3236432 best by 12/2026

I opened the bottle and poured out a capsule and got white powder on my hand? I am disappointed with this purchase as Now Foods is a top notch company that I have used for over a decade. I have watched kids with TICS lose all symptoms of the TICS after two days on Now Foods Magnesium and B Complex 100. Then the childs parents switched to GNC and the childs TICS came back and once they switched back to the Now Foods products in two days the TICS were gone.

They work faster than a pill.

Magnesium is awesome for calcium absorption ! We get the same ratio of calcium and Magnesium , we know that calcium by itself does not help a bit, because calcium by itself gets our bones as egg shells, super hard which makes them to break easily and inside basically hallow. So with equal ratios we do amazing!
