> 3 dayI bought an SSD as boot drive for one of my computers. Since the old hard drive was only using a little of the available space, I decided to save money and buy a smaller SSD. The problem is, of course, that most cloning software expects the target to be larger or equal to the original. I read the description of this one -- it sounded good and said it would automatically resize the partition as needed, so I ordered it.

08-06-2025Trying to clone a HHD to SSD drive. Program gives an error message “The selected boot device failed. Press F8 or enter> to continue.” Pressing enter does nothing you have now entered a loop and there is no obvious method of regaining control of your computer. In short the program is obviously not compatible with Windows 10 in some cases. From the other reviews this is a good program when it works but it did not for me.

Greater than one weekI purchased this software along with a 500GB Samsung SSD to upgrade my notebook PCs aging hard drive. The software was straight forward and very easy to use, the cloning process took less than half an hour. Now my notebook has a fast SSD, I have everything including all software and files just like before, but the performance is way better! Needless to say Im very happy with this purchase, I would give the software 6 stars if allowed.

> 3 dayUsed this to clone a drive to a ssd drive. It copied the system and recovery partitions to the new drive then it failed. Called and worked with tech support for 3 days to no avail. They told me something was wrong with the new Kinston SSD drive. I got a copy of Acronis and all worked fine the first time. This was a waste of 3 days!!!

Now my new laptop has a larger drive and runs exactly like it did before I cloned it. Im now going to upgrade all my other computer drives because this was so easy to use... Thank you!
