At first I had trouble with making a copy of my desktop PC in Ohio to take the cloned copy of a larger hard drive to Florida so I would not have to drag a big desktop back and forth every season but tech support understood the dilemma and helped me thru it. I discovered I had some bad sectors on my original hard drive and once I had Windows CHKDSK repair the original hard drive, it worked just as expected, so now I am a happy Snowbird

> 3 dayPurchased this software to backup my studio computers. after trying to activate, which is a nightmare the software would not except the product key. That being said, trying to find a way to deactivate does not exist. Finding support is difficult at best. Found the support address only to be insulted by a so called tech. Not a way to treat customers. Since I am a tech, if I could rate this company a negative star I would. I consider this a swindle. I have disposed of this garbage software

> 3 dayTrying to clone a HHD to SSD drive. Program gives an error message “The selected boot device failed. Press F8 or enter> to continue.” Pressing enter does nothing you have now entered a loop and there is no obvious method of regaining control of your computer. In short the program is obviously not compatible with Windows 10 in some cases. From the other reviews this is a good program when it works but it did not for me.

> 3 dayUpon startup the program went into an endless loop. Would not run; would not exit to Windows. Seems it cannot handle advanced security features of a new computer. Had to restore disk and reloaded all programs. Threw Echo 5 in the trash.

Filter CloningEcho’s filter cloning feature allows users to exclude certain files from the cloning process. Echo will make a clone of your drive and at the same time exclude the files you have selected from being part of the newly cloned drive. An ideal solution for when the target drive is too small for all of the source drive’s data. |
User-Defined CloningThe User Defined option will allow the user to adjust the size of the partitions on the new drive. This cloning method allows the user to customize the replacement drive by increasing or decreasing the partition sizes to fit their free space requirements. |
