Hurricane Harvey flooded my house, and my car, and all the neighbors, and some family. I bought this during the hurricane, it has been a life-saver. Salvaged goods go in the storage room, I seal it up (painters tape, doors and vents, also locked the cats out of that side of the house) and ozone treat them while Im away at work, when I get home air it out and all the moldy musty smells are gone. I removed the carpet from my car, dried it, replaced the padding and ran the ozone with the carpet in the car. It smells just like it did before the flood. I even had a long day at work, my shirt and I were smelling pretty rank from the contamination on a job site, and I had to go visit a customer. So I put the generator and my shirt in a plastic box, ran it for 5 minutes while I washed up a bit. Shirt smelled nice and clean, with a bit of an ozone twinge to it. I felt much better smelling nice. This is basically a magic odor killing box.

Product arrived quickly. Easy to use. Please follow safety and health precautions for this product!!!! Cannot stress this enough!! That being said...bought a used car for my daughter online...when delivered it had a very strong cigarette smell. Used this as directed for 40 th minutes and allowed the car to air out....got rid of the smell. Leaves behind a clean almost chlorine smell. Decided to retreat the interior a second time. In addition to the ozone generator I replaced the cabin filter and used Lysol spray in the air intake to freshen it up. Great product....saved the car for sure.

I used this to remove cigar odors from a newer car I purchased recently. It took two one hour sessions, but the odor is gone! Ozone machines seem to work better removing organic odors. Also used in my camper to remove a campfire smoke odor, this only required one 60 minute session and it was gone. We even use it to remove lingering food smells in our kitchen (we leave the house when it’s running) like fish and onions. Great little ozone generator!

I had smoked downstairs in my house. Gave up smoking and wanted the smell gone. I ran this for 3 hours while I was gone. After the ozone smell was gone. I could not detect the smoke smell. After a few weeks I ran it again as there had become a slight smoke smell. Imagine this came from deep within walls, leaching out. After second 3 hour cycle I have yet to smell the smoke again. I also used it it my vehicle and it eliminated the smell there after a couple of uses.

Like the ease of use, the deep cleaning effect and ability to remove old smells from my rental properties. Always use one between tenants for that fresh clean smell.

Ok so I bought the Enerzen O-888 as a last effort to remove the cat spray odor from my basement. I had already cleaned every square inch of the vinyl flooring with enzymatic cleanser first-still smelled it, then pine soil-still smelled it, then alcohol & vinegar-still there, and then finally I used straight Chlorine bleach (scented version) and left it full strength and covered it with plastic bags and left it over night and then finally did a cursory one over mop to remove any residue. This actually worked to clear about 80% of the smell…but, since I have a sensitive nose and refuse to have to live in a home that smells like cat pee, 80% wasn’t enough. I felt like after a day or two with fluctuating humidity, the smell might just creep back into full swing. I remembered that one of my tenants smoked in one if our new rentals and I was not able to clear the smell with regular cleaning so I called a local company for help. They brought in an Ozone machine and left it running for 24 hours, afterwards, though there was a strong ozone odor, the cigarette smell was gone and stayed gone to this day. After a final mop and a fragrances plug in, it was ready to lease and I never got any complaints from the new tenants. That said…I found this machine and bought it based off customer reviews. A couple days ago I turned it on for 3 hours and then aired it out. After a bit, I could still faintly smell urine, so the next day I mopped the entire area again and left the machine on for 6 hours but did not air out the basement afterwards. I left the whole apartment sealed up through the night. This morning I went down…NO SMELL WHATSOEVER! Except the smell that ozone creates which id rather have than cat pee! I opened up the windows in all the rooms thinking that afterwards I’d probably smell the pee again, but it’s gone! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Yes, I did have to find and eliminate all the actual pee spots before using this machine, but once the source was removed, all that was left was the nasty smell in the air, fabrics, drywall, ac vents…etc..this machine took care of that. So don’t expect it to remove the odor of a pee puddle that has not been wiped up or pee in left unwashed from fabric, it’s not going to work that way. But it does work fabulously if you do your part of the pre-clean. Can’t wait to use it in my apartments after the tenants leave just so everything smells fresh and the remnants of the previous tenant’s spicy foods are not lingering in the air, ac ducts and fabrics! Yes! I definitely recommend!

Emits an incredible amount of ozone! You really need to take their advice and not run it in rooms with people or pets. After just a couple minutes exposure I could feel the effect on my lungs...be careful! The unit did a great job removing odors from a car, and Im now testing it in our basement. I purchased it primarily to keep our mountain retreat smelling fresh rather than musty. I havent had a chance to get it up there yet. I did disconnect the internal timer as another customer suggested, and have the unit plugged in to a digital timer with built-in backup battery. Weve tried other units that look like furniture with beautifully finished wood cabinets. They put out a much lower amount of ozone, pretty much requiring them to be run constantly. They also tend to fail after about a year. This unit replaces one of them, and though not as attractive were hoping to get better performance and life out of this unit. Ill update this review if we run into any problems...

The product I’m reviewing is the 11,000mg ozone generator. I have to say it is fantastic and does a great job. My home has never had a cleaner smell to it. I have had it for a little over 3 weeks and use it on a regular basis. I have noticed it’s helped with removing allergens I’m my place. I had read a few negative reviews so I was unsure about buying it but I’m glad I did. I will give 2 important points 1. Don’t be in the house when it is in use O3 (ozone) is a disinfectant gas created through an electrical process. It does occur in nature, if you are ever close to a lightning strike you notice a very clean smell, that’s ozone gas. 2. If it is not on or plugged in it DOES NOT produce ozone.

Im writing this post like 6 months later, but... anyway Im landlord and I bought this product because a person died in one of my apartments and he was there for a few days. Its an upstairs apartment it was in the summer it was hot he didnt have on the AC, the smell was beyond awful. I ran this product for like 3 hours and it didnt do the job. I believe I needed to had ran it for like 6-10 hours. I used it a second time in my house in a blocked off area (bathroom and 2 bedrooms) for 1 hour. Because of the ozone smell it left, I had to sleep on the couch for 3 days. I used a third time in a musty basement. I ran it for 10 minutes. It worked perfectly. So to sum it up. I basically used it wrong, but its a judgement call you have to make based on the strength of the smell you are trying to eliminate. If the smell is airborne it will destroy it. You can easily not run it long enough or run it too long. So I suggest you set it for small time limits and if the smell is not gone use it again. I also bought a Walmart timer to trigger when to turn it on and used fans to help move the air. You, pets and plants cant be around it, so dont.

Ive purchased several of these units for use in our apartment buildings. They produce a very high volume of ozone, and knock the stink off fast Besides being a great product, Enerzen is a great seller to deal with. A unit I purchased in 2019 recently developed a problem with arcing in the ceramic plate socket. I contacted Enerzen to purchase replacement parts, but even though my unit was over a year out of warranty they supplied the parts to me at no cost. Enerzen is definitely a company that stands behind their products!
