Definitely cleans the smells out of the air. I have used it in the cars and garage and a few rooms in the house. And whatever smells that ere there are gone when it’s done.

I didnt see may reviews using it for mold, but decided to give it a shot. My attic (flat roof, ave height 21 with 15 fiberglass batt insulation) had bad mold smell from some roof leaks. The smell infiltrated into my 3rd floor and ductwork. Mold remediators said they had to take several air samples costing $800 before theyd give me an estimate. The usual solution was to rip down sheetrock and insulation, likely even in walls, and maybe rip out carpet and discard furniture. They they would treat attic, walls, etc. using air cleaners, hazmat suits, etc. Ach!! I ran the generator for 3 hr in each of 4 places in the attic, raising above insulation (ozone is heavier than air so place generator high). After the first one, the air smelled normal. I ran in the other 3 attic spots and in all the rooms on the 3rd floor. I turned off the AC so it wouldnt infiltrate the house, until the final treatment (to get the ducts). Its been about 2 weeks and the attic still smells fresh. It seems like the ozone goes thru painted sheetrock and down framing to some extent, based on odor (it smells). I tried to be careful about breathing ozone and left the house when it smelled strong. I did have a scratchy throat afterwards. Im anxious to see if the mold was killed or if it grows back over time. Ill try to write an update in a month or so to say whether it did. The generator instructions dont say much about using it. I did a lot of research online to find out how. Ozone will kill mold if concentration is high enough for long enough. Ozone may damage plastic coating on wiring, plants, organic material like rubber (gaskets?) and oxidize metal. A corrosive expert told me he didnt think it would harm plastic flexduct. I dont see any damage on anything so far.

I had smoked downstairs in my house. Gave up smoking and wanted the smell gone. I ran this for 3 hours while I was gone. After the ozone smell was gone. I could not detect the smoke smell. After a few weeks I ran it again as there had become a slight smoke smell. Imagine this came from deep within walls, leaching out. After second 3 hour cycle I have yet to smell the smoke again. I also used it it my vehicle and it eliminated the smell there after a couple of uses.

We have an old commercial building with a damp basement from when a heavy rain leaks in through the ground, so the odor is generally musty. We run multiple dehumidifiers which greatly helps on the moisture content, but not the smell. I originally bought 2 of these units but after using one for a couple of overnight cleanings, I returned the second one because one unit does the job. I set the unit to run for an hour or two in a basement room when we leave for the night. The next morning there may be a slight ozone odor in the first floor, but it usually dissipates by the end of the day. There are two rooms that I would say had stubborn odors. This unit has been remarkable at making a difference in those rooms and the entire basement environment has been greatly enhanced. I now use the unit on a maintenance schedule of two to three nights a week for 60 to 90 minutes run time. This unit puts out a LOT of ozone and you will notice it immediately after it starts running. The amount of ozone requires the space to be unoccupied when running. I highly recommend this unit.

We needed to take care of a rental property. We do not allow smoking in the units. The past tenant had been heavily smoking in this unit before we took over management. The owner had it painted but did not take the first steps in painting (the use of Kilz or similar primer that helps rid a room of odors) to help rid the smell. We brought in this unit and in one use rid the whole apartment of the smell. Great investment.

Bought this unit to eliminate bad odor for a recently purchased car which had water coming inside for over a year. Used this machine once for 45 minutes, let the car air for about an hour and the smell is totally gone. Highly Recommended

I dont write many reviews and I prefer to read reviews from people who have used a product for a while but for this I need to make an exception. I cant speak for the longevity of the unit, I have only had it a couple days. The only way to describe it, is that this is nothing short of amazing. I bought this for bad pet smells, as in urine. Its a long story but I own a house that severely smelled of ammonia from dog urine, to the point where you couldnt breathe. It not only took care of the urine smell, it also took out the stale smell from smoking cigarettes. I have tried all kinds of chemical treatments for pet urine and nothing has worked like this. This house is probably going to take several treatments but the improvement in just a couple is absolutely amazing. You cant imagine how bad it was. I dont have asthma but I now know how someone with it feels. Yes, ozone smells different and it lingers for a little bit but it goes away quickly, 90% in a few hours and the rest in a day. I have not used it in the worst part of the house yet, as I have to pull up carpet, but the results so far give me faith that the house is salvageable. If something changes, I will update but at this point, all I can say is Wow.

The product looks professionally engineered, if plain ( i.e., without fancy gimmickry). Likely still manufactured here in the US. Worked as it should. When a technical problem did come up shortly after the warranty expiration, they still made good, and actually replaced it with a new unit. The response and correction were a refreshing experience: (a) getting an actual company person - not a call center. (b) The person was clearly knowledgeable, had adequate authority, and great people skills. Five stars - Excellent product, and customer/user experience.

I purchased this after I had tried multiple other ways to get the smoke smell out of a car I recently purchased. Thanks to next day delivery and the ability to track my package on a map, I was waiting on the delivery person so that I can put this to work. It made an immediate impact after my first 30 minute treatment in my car. I’ve never had any experience with an ozone generator however this puts out a VERY noticeable amount of Ozone almost immediately and it’s very over powering. If you use one of these, do your research on the dangers of ozone. I plan to do another treatment on my car for a little longer today. My only regret is that I didn’t buy this sooner because I spent twice as much on other “fixes” for the smoke smell that simply don’t work. Ive had this about a week and have done a second treatment on my car. I can still slightly smell some smoke odor, even after cleaning all surfaces. One of my kids said the smell is much better than it was and that they could ride in the car. Im still very happy with the purchase but it must be noted that the source of the odor has to be eliminated in order to completely get it out. I did the second treatment for an hour and this time instead of running the extension cord through the window with it cracked, I was able to shut the extension cord I used a the bottom of the door making sure no damage to it occurred. I then let it run for about 15 mins, used my remote start to start the vehicle and recirculate the air. It turns off after 10 mins and allows one more re-start, which I did about 20 mins later to again circulate the air throughout the HVAC system and then let it finish out its hour long cycle. Opening the door, the ozone is overpowering and its definitely putting out a lot of it. Ive noticed since that if I leave my windows up on a hot day, (its been 90 degrees plus lately) the smell is more noticeable but once it gets going is much less noticeable. My next plan is to again wipe all surfaces with a vinegar and water solution and probably do one more treatment. As far as the machine goes, it puts out ozone and a lot of it! **4 year update!** This machine is still going strong and I use it pretty regularly. I’ve since moved on from the car noted above but if there is a rotten smell in the garage from food in the trash can, I just fire this up and it takes care of it. Better than any spray that just masks the smell.

This thing is small, I was thinking I should order the bigger one but the reviews I read said it works and it does! My guest bedroom smelled musty, I put this in there for 60 min and now it smells like absolutely nothing. I put it in the cigarette-smoke smelling office for 60 min, it came out very good but Im going to redo it one more time. I keep running this thing from room to room. Heres the catch! It doesnt smell like rain it smells like a lightening strike -ozone. Never smelled that? Okay, it smells like ink toner or flat alka seltzer. Not horrible but not good and dont breathe it in on purpose. The Good News, ALL smell goes away in about an hour after use, just open the windows. I read that you can use Frebreeze on everything in the room before hand and the smell wont be so strong. I plan to do that in the rest of my house. This is the best hundred bucks you will spend to get odors out of your house immediately.
