It is not the same stuff as I got from them before. First batch was better.

I have way too much leather dog gear, but now its all soft and condition-y. And my hands were super soft after going on a conditioning spree, too. Good stuff.

If you have leather boots and gloves, live up north and need a good all weather sealant THIS is it. It is all natural tree resin and beeswax to keep the leather supple while blocking out harsh elements and keeping your stuff dry. Its very easy to apply, just use your bare hands to apply it thoroughly and let it sit. My husband used this for his Cabelas boots (they specifically recommended using this for his boots) AND his Carhart leather hunting gloves that he got for Christmas. Whenever hes gone out to get snow and ice off his truck before work, his hands and feet were still 100% dry. It did slightly darken the color of his boots and gloves but it has done the job and still has his gloves and boots looking like new. 10/10 would recommend.

I use this product on all my western and riding boots, real leather bags, shoes, belts, you name it!! I love this stuff and I’ve had the same jar for over a year. A little goes a long way!

The pic I took was directly after application. It changed the color to something darker but I just want my shoes waterproofed. Will let you know. They definitely weren’t before using

Was specifically looking between this product and Huberds to use as dressing/conditioner for my new pair of Wesco boots. Boots can be very expensive and thus a investment that one expects to keep and wear for a very long time. So its important to use a product that fits this bill. After much research, between Obenaufs and Huberds the ingredients and quality are nearly identical and the main difference between them is the scent. Huberds is said to have a pine campfire scent and Obenaufs has a beeswax honey scent. Based off this i chose Obenaufs and very glad i did. The product itself is beeswax colored and smells more like a sweet natural beesewax scent. I liken it to natural lip balms with a slight honey aroma. Very mild and when working with it i couldnt actually smell it nor did it linger on the boots. I placed my boots and Obenaufs outside in the sun for a hour or so to heat up the leather and cleaned the boots with a damp rag to remove dirt and dust. After this i used my fingers to apply the product. I only used enough to cover the tips of my fingers and the leather absorbed quickly and easily into the leather. I then left them outside for a couple hours to absorb more of the product. No stickyness or change in texture! Overall fantastic product and i see this jar lasting a very long time!

I use this along with Bickmore Bick 4 leather conditioner. On my work boots, I apply Obenauf’s as a waterproofing after using the Bick 4. The Obenauf’s protects the leather from moisture better than anything I have ever used. I have a pair of ostrich leg boots that I wore for years on my job. They went through water and mud with no problem. I am on my fourth resole and they still look good.

Easy application and non-sticky. Turned drying leather supple again. This is the one.

We have a leather, theatre-style recliner. There are many complaints on the internet of squeaking and squealing from the leather when the chairs are reclined. We had the same complaint. Ours sounded like a bag full of banshees when the chair reclined. After trying other leather conditioners with no luck, we finally tried Obenaufs Heavy Duty LP leather conditioner. What a difference! We may have to reapply later on, but for now, silence is golden. We highly recommend this product.
