Outdoor Z-Wave Plus On/Off Light and Appliance Plug, Two On/Off Smart Outlet, Zwave Hub Required, Works with SmartThings, Wink, Alexa (ZW97)

Excellent for using as outdoor timer. I use it to turn fountain on in morning and off late evening instead of it running all night long! Also great for turning on and off Christmas lights/decorations.

Im using these on my Edison Style string lights over my backyard. Its a standard switch with few interesting modifications. I am working with a Smartthings system that runs a combination of Z-Wave and Zigbee products. The first of these units I received didnt work reliably after the initial addition of the product. I requested a replacement and received a replacement in 2 days. Great customer service, decent product (despite the initial issue).

Extremely easy to set up!

This switch does exactly what its supposed to - I use Z-wave switches throughout my home and this one is no different, with the exception of being outdoor rated and having a dedicated always hot outlet. It pairs perfectly with Samsung Smart Things, as well as Amazon Alexa for voice control. I have it mounted in an enclosed rear porch to LED string lights. Definitely a winner - especially if youre on the fence about wifi or z-wave - go z wave for switches!

Couldnt get the app to control both outlets. Give up.

I bought this for use outside to control a water fountain. It paired easily with my zwave hub and works with no issue.

Im on my second one of these Eva Logic 2 Channel Z-Wave Smart Plug...and unfortunately these are the dummest smart plugs out there. Neither of the two that I purchased can be added to my SmartThings hub. When trying to add them...either via their product name (which is an available option), or scanning nearby, they are not found by the SmartThings app. Ive tried it a million times...tried the factory reset (press the power button twice, then hold), rebooted the hub, rebooted my phone...no dice no matter what I try. I contacted Eva Logik support, and although they responded very quickly (which was great), their first reply was sending me a link to the video on how to pair the device (which was no no help, of course, since I had already tried every option available. They offered to replace the device, but figuring they wouldnt be as quick as Amazon, I just did a replacement order. As noted earlier, the replacement acted the same way as the original one...its basically a brick. Now its on to try to find a similar device from an alternate manufacturer...that will actually work. I would suggest that you dont waste your time on trying this...Im a week and a half in, and back to square one. Note: I have an extensive SmartHome device collection, running a large number of items in my house, so suffice to say, it isnt operator error.

Need something to control my mister pump and value out at my Gazebo. Found this outdoor rated unit. Integrated into my Hubitat without issue. Has nice features and both plugs are controllable!

The 2 z-wave plug version does not have a flat plug unlike the one z-wave/one always on version. This was necessary for me since my outdoor plug enclosure will not close with a plug that sticks out.
