> 3 dayThis device shows up as two separate switches in Smartthings and Im able to schedule two sets of outdoor lights to turn on at sunset and off at sunrise. Havent had any issues with it not working or with range issues with it not reaching my Smartthings hub so far. Great value for the price compared to the GE outdoor Z-wave switch, which I also have.

> 3 dayEdited: The manufacturer has replaced the defective smart plug for me very quickly. I will most likely need to keep this plug completely covered in a waterproof box to save it from the elements I setup this smart outlet to run outdoor lights in my backyard. It worked well for 4 weeks but after normal outdoor weather the device stopped working. I unfortunately dont recommend this product unless youre using it indoors.

> 3 dayHas been working great for around 6 months now with some overhead lights outside, exposed to the rain. I bought a 2nd one to use under a canopy outside and I think the way I positioned it exposed it to too much water, so I reached out to their support and after a prompt reply, theyre now sending me a replacement one. Since I often look at reviews for this, Im currently using it with Home Assistant (HassIO) to automatically turn on some outdoor lights before sunset and turn them off around 11pm. The other thing thats nice about this setup is I believe it acts as a repeater which helps since I have a lock nearby that is battery powered. (Also, features for review are listed as Warmth, Sheerness, and Thickness? Hard to imagine how those were selected by Amazon.)

> 3 dayThe 2 z-wave plug version does not have a flat plug unlike the one z-wave/one always on version. This was necessary for me since my outdoor plug enclosure will not close with a plug that sticks out.

Greater than one weekI used a single channel EvaLogik plug and it worked fine, when I wanted to add a second lamp I purchased this 2 channel controller and it’s never worked properly. I can set it up with no issue but within 30 minutes it loses connection to the hub. Turning the switch on or off by using the button reconnects it to the z wave network for a while but the failure then recurs. I have tried excluding and re-adding the device multiple times and have done several z-wave network repairs but the device continued to fail. I exchanged it and the exact same situation occurred. I have several other z-wave devices, including some which act as repeaters, in the room right next to the outdoor location so I know that the z-wave network is strong enough to support the signal. Based on the behavior I am assuming that the power supply to the z-wave radio is erratic and fails to supply adequate current to the radio to maintain the connection. I am returning the second controller and will be replacing it with another brand.

> 3 daySeems to setup easy enough with Home Assistant. Im using these for outside christmas lights and the first time i set it up, seemed to turn on the lights at sunset as expected. I wake up the next morning and one outlet is on and the other is off instead of both being off. Its showing up as a dead node in home assistant. I unplug and plug back in and it seems to work. Same issue the next morning. Except now i cant fix it with unplugging and plugging back in. Looks like from previous reviews others have had similar issues. Will be returning and looking for another alternative since this is unreliable

> 3 daySo far so good after a month. Paired this with a Hubitat hub. I bought a few of these to use with outdoor lighting. Temperatures here have not got any colder than about 20 degrees Fahrenheit so I have no experience with truly cold temperatures. Still, no issues thus far when using with a daily routine that turns the lights on and off. Z-wave network inclusion was simple and problem free. I previously used GE branded outdoor z-wavewave plugs. These were easier to pair with the network.

Greater than one weekI used this zwave switch to operate my outdoor Christmas lights this year, worked flawlessly. My switch sat on the porch out of the weather but cold temperatures didn’t seem to affect it. I’m not sure how well it would hold up out in the rain and snow. Connected to Smartthings quick and easy. I only wish, instead of having one plug switched and one plug on all the time, they were both switched independently. Overall I’m happy with it.

> 3 dayThe connected easily to my Hubitat Elevation hub, and I can name and manage both receptacles separately. All for a great price. The only thing I do wish it had was a 90° plug, but I couldnt find any Z-wave devices that do.

> 3 dayI bought this for use outside to control a water fountain. It paired easily with my zwave hub and works with no issue.
