> 3 dayVery easy to setup with my Wnk 2 hub and control with Alexa. I like that you get two outlets one controlled and one uncontrolled. There is one button up front for setup and to control the outlet. Works great.

> 3 dayThis device shows up as two separate switches in Smartthings and Im able to schedule two sets of outdoor lights to turn on at sunset and off at sunrise. Havent had any issues with it not working or with range issues with it not reaching my Smartthings hub so far. Great value for the price compared to the GE outdoor Z-wave switch, which I also have.

> 3 dayIm on my second one of these Eva Logic 2 Channel Z-Wave Smart Plug...and unfortunately these are the dummest smart plugs out there. Neither of the two that I purchased can be added to my SmartThings hub. When trying to add them...either via their product name (which is an available option), or scanning nearby, they are not found by the SmartThings app. Ive tried it a million times...tried the factory reset (press the power button twice, then hold), rebooted the hub, rebooted my phone...no dice no matter what I try. I contacted Eva Logik support, and although they responded very quickly (which was great), their first reply was sending me a link to the video on how to pair the device (which was no no help, of course, since I had already tried every option available. They offered to replace the device, but figuring they wouldnt be as quick as Amazon, I just did a replacement order. As noted earlier, the replacement acted the same way as the original one...its basically a brick. Now its on to try to find a similar device from an alternate manufacturer...that will actually work. I would suggest that you dont waste your time on trying this...Im a week and a half in, and back to square one. Note: I have an extensive SmartHome device collection, running a large number of items in my house, so suffice to say, it isnt operator error.

> 3 dayI bought this to connect into my Wink automation to turn on outdoor Christmas lights in 2020. It works great but I had to do some digging on YouTube and other places to get it to integrate with my Wink hub. They should provide better documentation as when I scanned the barcode with the Wink app, it said the device was not supported. I wen through the manual process thanks to youtube videos and it connected. No issues after that but I had to move my Wink hub closer to it as the wireless signal would not reliably pass through the front brick on my house to activate it. Beyond that it works great now and I will be using it every year going forward. Easily integrated with Alexa.

> 3 dayI love the use of voice technology, my wife is more old school. This fits the bill with easy to add to smart things, and has the manual button. If you need automation outside, that isnt permanent, and the ability to manually override, this the tool for the job.

20-11-2024As mentioned by others, to whom I should have listened, these units (I have two) randomly stop participating in the network, and cannot be found. Even when theyre five feet away from the hub. Powering them off and back on via the external button sometimes wakes them back up and the hub can find them again. Which totally kills their utility as outdoor remote devices. Weather-proof-wise, the connections arent enclosed when in use, and therefore are subject to rain/ice risks. I can live with that, but the terrible z-wave behavior makes them unsuited for any important task.

> 3 dayThe box and Amazon page shows a 90 degree plug. (front side of the box has a sticker over the plug end, but back shows 90 degree.) Unfortunately, even with a 90 degree plug, it would still have too short of a cord. All of the outdoor z-wave plugs like this on Amazon have short cords. I just dont get it. It barely makes it to the wall next to the outlet and the plug would have to be so low to the ground that the rain will just bounce back up onto it. Need a cord at least double this length. I could use the mechanical timer that I was using to daisy-chain them, but I think that I will return and purchase a wired outlet to replace the one inside the covered receptacle. I did not try the z-wave connection (I didnt want to waste my time setting up something that I wasnt going to keep.) I gave 2 stars because may work for some applications, but again you barely have enough cord to get to the wall.

> 3 dayAdded this to my Zwave home automation for some outdoor xmas lights and it worked flawlessly. We had sub zero temps along with a decent NorEaster (Think winter hurricane) and it never even flinched.
