I really struggled changing tires on tubeless-ready wheels - just could not get enough leverage under the tire bead. These steel core levers make a big difference - the tips really grab the tire and the steel doesn’t bend, providing much more leverage than traditional plastic levers. They are slightly heavier than plastic levers, but fit into my bag.

I highly recommend them.

Nice build quality with easy slip-on coating. simple product. The plastic version may be ok if you seldom change tires. I bought this one because I had bad luck with plastic tools degrading on me over tune. This one is metal. it does what its supposed to do and changing the tube a lot easier.

Plain and simple go for a plastic tire levers. These are double the price and even more when you destroy your wheels or tires. I’ve luckily not damaged my wheels but it’s destroyed two tires in walls with barely any pressure. There is a reason no one else is using steel for these.

Perfect for installation and removal of Cushcore inserts. More leverage and less flex than plastic levers.

Finally, a decent set of thingys to get my tyres off! Been struggling with el cheapo plastic ones from the UK for years- never crossed my mind to get some with metal in the middle- doh!

After breaking 4 nylon tire tools, these finally did the job of removing tubeless mtn bike tires!
