> 3 daySo far these have worked much better than the cheaper versions that are all plastic. The metal core makes the lever much stronger and it wont bend like the plastic ones. I am happy I made an investment in tire levers that will serve me for a long time.

> 3 dayI had used cheap plastic levers in the past that broke. I decided to solve that problem by using steel core levers. These are affordable and work 100% of the time. I hate the feeling of being out on a ride and having a lever break on me. (Though usually a friend or other cyclists would normally offer to help).
The TL-6.2 is a set of two composite-covered steel core tire levers that provide smooth, scratch-free operation and superior strength to help remove even the tightest tires. These tire levers feature a tough, slippery material and a protruding steel tip to more easily and securely engage the tire bead.
PERFECTLY SIZED
Fitting comfortably in the hand while providing excellent leverage, the TL-6.2 is the perfect size (5"/12.7cm) for use as an everyday shop lever, or can be stored in a saddlebag or tool roll for the mobile mechanic.
