    Greater than one week

Really wanted this to work but it seems to cause my keyboard to double press numbers and letters.

I have an elderly brother-in-law with an older keyboard, but with a floor-standing computer that does not have the old PS2 keyboard jack. We used this cable cord adapter in order that the keyboard can use a USB port and it works like a charm! An excellent product.

Likes: Showed up within 24hrs of order, priced well, worked reasonably well. Dislikes: For the first few hours of usage, when typing, occasionally would behave as if there were a stuck key, sort of like thisssssssssssssssssssss. Needed to be ready with the backspace key. Seems, too, to have difficultly generating a wake event to the laptop. Im used to hitting the enter key to bring up the login screen, but the keyboard via this device doesnt appear to do this. However, the wireless mouse Im also using does do this. Overall, Im pretty happy being able to continue to use my Model M keyboard with this laptop, so well satisfied with the product. Update: got asked a question as to whether the product works with only one dongle connected. Answer: yes. See the picture for how Ive got mine set up.

This product works just as intended. Im very happy that I can still use my older trackball with my newer computer which doesnt have any serial ports, only USB ports

Mom finally decided she was willing to try the awesome and spend split hand ergonomic keyboard I gave her for Christmas more than a few years ago. (I live mine!) Since then, computers have advanced to the era of the USB -- but the brand new keyboard sports a PS/2 connection. Argh! After calling all of the local stores, I finally ordered this gem of an adapter. It works perfectly and that brand new keyboard was up and running in seconds. Quality USB to PS/2 adapters arent that easy to find. Consider ordering two of these if you work with outdated equipment.

If you have an old keyboard or mouse, this should be perfect

It should be simple, it rarely is simple.... except this time. Plug it in and it works, no fuss, no muss. You have to love things that just work. For the record I have these plugged into laptops without native PS2 ports, through an old TrendNet KVM using Windows 7 Ultimate. It just worked from the getgo, other, cheaper options rotated my screen when plugged in and promptly sent the computer into a tailspin until unplugged

Works exactly as expected, and my ancient Northgate keyboard, already adapted for a PS/2 connection, lives again, now thru USB. I’m a happy camper.

My wife loves her old keyboard. Half the letters have been warn off the keys its so old. It came with a Dell PC, 2 or 3 computers ago. Finally they stopped putting in PS2 ports. I get her a couple of new usb keyboards, but she hated them all. So I thought Id try this gizmo to bring the sexy back, or at least her old keyboard. I was concerned when looking because some units lacked the built in controller thing and reviews stated they would sometimes and then not work other times. Unacceptable for a non-techy wife to troubleshoot. So I took a chance on this item and its work great for several months now. And not one complaint from the wife - priceless! Seriously tho shes happy and the keyboard is working great with the new PC that has only usb ports.
