> 3 dayI have an absolutely ANCIENT KeyTronic Mainframe keyboard that still uses a DIN connector. I didnt want to solder up my own DIN-to-USB controller, so I went with adapter hell with a DIN-to-PS2 and this PS2-to-USB. Normally Im skeptical about this type of setup, but this controller works flawlessly with Mac, Windows, and most Linux distributions. Its literally plug-n-play, no fuss. The build quality is great and doesnt feel fragile at all. Definitely recommend if you need to use a PS/2 keyboard or mouse!

> 3 dayI had 2 computers at work that are on a KVM. One computer got replaced and the new one didnt have standard PS2 ports like the KVM requires. I tried this and it worked for the keyboard but not the mouse. Now, we have to have 2 mice at the workstation.

> 3 dayIf you are using your keyboard for just typing and data entering type things, it works great. If you are using your keyboard for gaming things, then it works horribly. When gaming it seems to lose connection or reset. Example, using a key like w key to move forward, it will stop working and have to repress the key to have it work. And that happens every 5-15 seconds. Sooo less than ideal to say the least. But if you are typing something such as this, then that reset has no effect, since im not holding a key down for longer than a second. Anyway, just some info.

> 3 dayJust upgraded my wifes computer, and the keyboard she likes is an old one and has a PS/2 connector. The computer I built for her did not have any PS/2 jacks. I order this PS/2 to USB adapter and simply plugged everything in, turned on the PC, and everything worked great. Ive had no problems with this product. FYI, the motherboard was an Asus Z87 Pro running Windows 10.

> 3 dayNotice how this one is stated to be compatible with a KVM switch. Support PS/2 Port of KVM Switch - Built-in USB IC. Not all of these adapters state that compatibility. Boy what a nightmare I had because I used one that was not compatible with my 4 port PS/2 KVM Switch & Windows 10 pro had a problem loading in a Generic Driver for it & I had no Keyboard or Mouse. So if you use a KVM Switch try this one. As soon as I used this one, problem solved, & as another reviewer pointed out, plug this adapter in 1st & the OS load in the Generic Driver, then plug in Leboard & Mouse.

> 3 dayI have a MAME cabinet I built many years ago. I used an i-pac 2 card to translate the joysticks and buttons to keypresses. I recently got a raspberry pie 4 and now use it for the heart of the cabinet. This little gadget allowed me to do a plug-and-play replacement with my old pc that had ps2 keyboard input. The old ipac output is ps2 and (of course) the pie inputs are all usb. This thing worked perfectly!

> 3 dayI used the adapter for a 2 port KVM switch with PS2 connectors for one of the computers. I went through 2 keyboards and a mouse before I found a third pair that would work. The keyboard that worked was a Inland brand from Microcenter and the mouse was generic. I adapter works well once the right keyboard and mouse were found. I gave it four stars because of the trouble making it work.
