> 3 dayFound a high-end soft-touch keyboard in the thrift shop for $4 that had the round connector, this allowed me to use it on my more modern computer at about a 90% saving.

Greater than one weekJust upgraded to a new Dell desktop with Windows 10. No PS2 ports anymore. Loved my old Microsoft Natural ergonomic keyboard. Already had an adapter (wired thru) that I got with one other new keyboard, but is was one designed for dual interface. This Perixx PS2 adapter converts the serial PS2 to USB. I plugged in the old keyboard to the Perixx and into a USB port and it works. Did not even see a notice of new device found. I am not a speed typist, and have not noticed any errors yet (other then my fat fingers). I did try a few multi key commands (alt, control, delete and alt, tab) and those commands were recognized.

> 3 dayI bought this to go with my DELL AT101W mechanical keyboard (ALPS switch). I game with the keyboard, so I need/want keys to stay pressed anytime I hold down the keys. My previous motherboard had a PS/2 port on-board, which worked perfectly fine. This USB adapter works ok, as in the keyboard is detected and I can type away normally. However, in games for some reason, the keys (usually the WASD keys) stop responding if I hold them down for too long (when running/walking/driving for example). This is quite annoying to me personally, as I am not used to having to re-press movement keys in certain games. It isnt an issue in all games though, as some games you move around enough that you dont hold down the keys long enough for them to stop responding. I personally dont recommend this adapter, unless you only plan to use the keyboard for typing, as you will notice issues when playing games, and most likely get frustrated in wondering why the keys are not responding.

> 3 dayeasily use your PS/2 KB an mouse on laptops or any computer. TIPs: * First time plugging in to computer, do it without devices attached. Let the system load the drivers for the composite USB device. When done, unplug, attach your devices then replug to usb port. It will then find the drivers for mouse and keyboad attached. * If after steps above, both KB and mouse arent working, unplug - then plugin usb again

Greater than one weekAmazon want me to review. I needed this for an old input device, it seems well constructed, and worked for my needs. I was well satisfied.

> 3 dayUsed this only for keyboard, did not try it with a mouse. Worked well with the keyboard except for one thing: when cycling through windows of an application using Ctrl + Tab, if I stopped cycling while still holding down those keys, the highlighted window would automatically be selected. I tried various keyboards to see if that made a difference and it did not. I ended up buying a similar adapter from a different manufacturer and that one worked correctly (it does not switch to the highlighted window until Ive released the keys). Other than that, the Perixx works fine for a legacy keyboard.

> 3 dayIt came quickly and no issues. It works very well. Its keeping that old HP keyboard in the game and typing so happy it does what its made for. Quality appears good. Dont expect any wearing out of it. So should last as long as I want to use this keyboard at least. Try it you will like it.

> 3 dayI have an old PS2 keyboard that I refuse to retire but an upgraded laptop / docking station at work no longer supported PS2. This worked perfectly, plug & play. Ive had an adapter like this before and this one seems more solidly built. I do a lot of Alt- and Ctrl- keyboard shortcuts and I havent experienced the problem mentioned in other reviews around simultaneous keypresses. I dont game with this, though, and that sounded like when the problem was most likely to occur. But my experience with this has been identical to when I had a native PS2 port.
