The first one just did not work. It was quickly replaced and Ive been using it to connect my very old and well loved serial keyboard to my new USB only computer for about two years now.

Works great. I use it only for my old PS/2 keyboard outlet. I guess should work good with the old ball mouse.

I bought two (2) of these adapters. The adapter appears to be well made. It wasnt what I thought I ordered for the purpose I had in mind at the moment I ordered; however, there was an old PS/2 IBM real keyboard that has been sitting around waiting to be used. It was to replace the AWFUL plastic piece-of-junk, less than full size, USB keyboard that came with the latest computer purchase. I also had an optical mouse with a PS/2 connector that replaced the horrid roller ball mouse that also came with the latest computer purchase. So the oops order became the order that allowed me use quality equipment from the olden days. Im happy, I gave five (5) stars, and now I can really type on the full-size keyboard and use a mouse that does not skip. BTW, the adapter works!

Amazon want me to review. I needed this for an old input device, it seems well constructed, and worked for my needs. I was well satisfied.

Plugged the adapter into the keyboard and computer and it worked as would be expected. I have been using this computer for several weeks with no issue.

Worked fine for an old IBM model M keyboard to a modern USB only mini PC.

Likes: Showed up within 24hrs of order, priced well, worked reasonably well. Dislikes: For the first few hours of usage, when typing, occasionally would behave as if there were a stuck key, sort of like thisssssssssssssssssssss. Needed to be ready with the backspace key. Seems, too, to have difficultly generating a wake event to the laptop. Im used to hitting the enter key to bring up the login screen, but the keyboard via this device doesnt appear to do this. However, the wireless mouse Im also using does do this. Overall, Im pretty happy being able to continue to use my Model M keyboard with this laptop, so well satisfied with the product. Update: got asked a question as to whether the product works with only one dongle connected. Answer: yes. See the picture for how Ive got mine set up.

Not much to say. It worked to connect a keyboard with a PS/2 connector to a USB socket on the motherboard.

Since my new computer only takes USB hookups and my new keyboard is much narrower/smaller keys, I started looking for a PS2 to USB adapter so that I could still use my old keyboard -- which has an old PS2 socket. Looked around the internet and found only imposters. This one actually works! No software needed. After booting up the computer, I unhooked the USB for the new keyboard -- then plugged in the PeriPro adapter to let the computer recognize it (Windows 10). After the adapter was recognized, I then plugged in my old PS2 keyboard to the PeriPro adapter and voilà. It works great!
