Greater than one weekWorks exactly as expected, and my ancient Northgate keyboard, already adapted for a PS/2 connection, lives again, now thru USB. I’m a happy camper.

> 3 dayI was able to get this working on a Windows 10 system through a ps/2 KVM switch. This is how: installed Peripro 401 with nothing attached to it. used the keyboard already attached to the ps/2 (kb/m shared port) on computer to log in. Plugged in the mouse to peripro 401 port. The mouse was not seen by the computer. I moved the keyboard over to this device and rebooted. On reboot both mouse and keyboard then worked. i have switched KVM to other systems and back and it still sees the mouse and keyboard on all systems.

Greater than one weekI am very pleased with my purchase, the product does exactly what it should! It allows me to use all of my older keyboards, that are far higher quality than most modern boards, for gaming, emailing and everything in between! The build quality is excellent also, the cords are thick and durable and the plugs them selves are sturdy. This product is also and active converter, which is exactly what anyone who wants to use old keyboards on modern PCs need. Finally this device does not require any software downloads, just plug it in and the on board converter does all of the work!

> 3 dayMakes my ps/2 keyboard work. A simple pin adapter was not working. This is what you need to make sure that the old keyboards work on usb port

> 3 dayI had 2 computers at work that are on a KVM. One computer got replaced and the new one didnt have standard PS2 ports like the KVM requires. I tried this and it worked for the keyboard but not the mouse. Now, we have to have 2 mice at the workstation.

> 3 dayThis converter has worked flawlessly for my various IBM model M keyboards (rubber dome 07H0665, buckling spring 42H1292). Of note: It also works with my vintage IBM mouse (P/N 28L1864). I have also successfully used it with two different Dell QuietKey keyboards. I dont know a ton about this stuff, however if your model M is a terminal board, it will probably not work (mine didnt work despite previously being modded to PS/2); thats what the Soarers converter is for.
