So nice not having to get up early in the morning to feed my cats. The only reason I gave 4 stars was that programming it took awhile to figure out and nowhere in the instructions does it tell you how much a portion size is. We figured out that 3 servings is about a 1/4 cup of food.

Never have to worry about my cat having enough food!

I bought this feeder for my outdoor cat, who is blind and can’t travel or be kenneled (she panics outside her known environment). I intended to create a critter proof enclosure, but while testing the feeder I left it out overnight. Sure enough, a raccoon found it. I watched him on video the next morning as he overturned it, unplugging it in the process, rolled it off the porch and down the steps, and disappeared into the night. Two days later I found it down a steep slope, against a fence, unbroken. He had 3 nights with the thing and he not only could not get into it, he couldn’t even break it. It’s scratched up but still works perfectly. Not only that, it survived a heavy thunderstorm with 20 minutes of marble sized hail. I’m impressed. A previous feeder was ripped to pieces by raccoons. Now to create a raccoon-proof enclosure for it so he can’t roll it away.

This is my first cat. I was completely unaware how persistent they can be when they want to EAT. This little psycho would walk around screaming bloody murder from 6am until I got out of the bed and fed her… Easy to program, holds a little more than half of a 4lb bag of cat food and the stainless steel bowl (ad opposed to plastic) is a complete win. Every cat owner should have one of these.

We use the feeder to supplement our cats wet food diet, so we have it set on 1 portion, twice per day. The lowest portion is the perfect small amount and our cat seems to know when it goes off every day because hell wait next to it 30 minutes before. One minor issue is that the clock drifts a couple of minutes every few months requiring me to reset the clock. Other than that, its very reliable and I love that you can easily clean the stainless steel bowl.

Decided to get one of these for my cats when i was gonna be gone for 2 days and had nobody to feed them. Worked perfectly! Got to set up feeding times and how much they got fed each time.

Super easy to use. Lots of different types of portion sizes. The only issue is that the holder for the food is small. Be prepared to have to fill it every 3-4 days depending on portion size.

Ive had this for about a week now, and so far so good. I found it easy to program, though I did have to experiment a bit to find the right amount of portions for each feeding. My cats think it is a god, but sadly they still dont let me sleep in.

There were a few super small portions in the first few days but I havent seen that happen after the first week. I havent used the audio recording. I have it set for the smallest meal size 4 times a day and it works out fine for my kitten who eats just as much as my adult cats. I have 1 feeder per cat, only one of this brand. Im not an instructions guy but I had to follow the instructions when setting this up. The buttons are not intuitive.

I ordered two on these units. One of the units seems to be a returned unit as it has scratches on the top, and was missing the rubber caps that covered the charging port. The second unit I ordered that came at the same time had rubber caps and no scratches. Other than that, both units seem to be functioning correctly, I’m still playing with portion sizes and schedules but I like it so far. I haven’t used the recording feature as I don’t feel that I need it. I also placed shallow stainless steel bowls into the bowls it came with as I find those bowls a little too deep for cats.
