I had this feeder for a few months now and I’ve had no issues with it. It’s great and does it’s job. I had read lots of reviews before buying because I saw that people were having issues figuring out the portion sizes. I do about 3 at a time. It is pretty easy to figure out once you get the hang of it. The only feature I don’t use at all is the voice recording. I feel it’s unnecessary, but I can see that some people may like to use it.

I got this for my cats so I could leave them alone overnight. The portions are wonky. I dont understand why the machine does portions instead of ounces or something. Takes some math to figure out how many portions to set. I will say I went with this model instead of a different one because this one will do more than 3 portions on a setting. My cats chew on cables so I was happy there was a battery option. I just had them sitting on the floor with batteries and my cats were happy as a clam. I did see some reviews say that cats needed adjusting because otherwise the motion of the food will scare them: my cats had no issues. But they are on diets so maybe they were just so excited to get food that they didnt care if the food was moving into the dish.

It fed the cat at the times we programmed into the feeder and now the cat is not waking us up at 5:00 am whining to be fed. Like the fact that we can feed the cat 6 different times and vary the portions throughout a 24 hr. period. When the cat is happy we are happy.

This is super stylish but is functionally poor. We have it set to P1 portion size for every feeding but the machine is inconsistent and gives anything between 0 and 12 pieces of food. This is not great, since we need to specifically portion our cats meals so he doesnt throw up every day. We actually measured this food kibble before we bought this machine and made sure the kibble was no more than 15mm on average, and all pieces are pretty much the same size, so that doesnt seem to be the issue . Also, the programmed feeding times dont seem to work, the machine just realeases whatever amount it wants and whatever time it chooses. Which unfortunately makes it useless for us.

Bought this as a temporary feeding solution while on vacation. Setup is easy. Battery backup is a must. Programming is slightly clunky: there is no means to go to a previous setting, so if you make a mistake you have to start over. However, with a little practice you can fly through the settings. We experimented with timings and portion sizes for a week or so before our trip to fine-tune settings. Our cats go outside, so the feeder was set up on a covered patio and covered with a cheap plastic plant pot with a brick on top. Worked great and we had one stormy day while away. Since we have four cats to feed, my wish is that the feeder was available with a larger bowl. Poor darlings had to wait their turns to eat!

My job role causes me to to be away from home quite a bit, so having the assurance that my pet will still receive fresh food while I’m away, takes that concern off my mind. The feeder’s controls are easy to use (read the manual), and the voice record function allows you to leave a message for your pet. Overall, this has been a worthwhile investment.

Bought it to feed my cats when I am away from home, works very well! My cats love it! Happy with this automatic cat feeder, i like the option of 6 meals per day. Nice portion sizes. Right one for me

Bought for cats. Directions easy to follow for set up and continued use. Unfortunately directions did not include what portion is released with setting. P-01 is smallest portion released, approximately 1/8 cup with 1/4 to 1/2 kibbles.

It looks nice and is easy to set up. The portion sizes are pretty small, so its good to get this ahead of time and do tests to see how many portions are good for your animal. The big plus is that you can set up to 6 meals and up to 50 portions. Its a good fixture in the house to keep meal times consistent, especially for people that are away often or need a bit of help having regulated meal times.
