> 3 dayIve had a lamp from Rejuvenation for a while that is just a cage with an Edison bulb, and because all of my other lamps have Hue bulbs, this one has gotten neglected for a while. I was so thrilled to see Hue release an Edison bulb! The light is gorgeously warm - sometimes I mistake it out of the corner of my eye for candlelight - and its dimming feature is excellent. Its very pricy for what it is, especially since my other bulbs are white and color, but I imagine that like other Hue products the price will go down over time. Being able to have an exposed bulb and still have Hue features is really excellent, though.

Greater than one weekHave a bunch of these around the house now and am always looking for sales to continue to replace all my older bulbs. Regular price these are good, (really) long life (haven’t one die yet), and fun. And on a sale they become a solid value. But Beware Amazon warehouse returns! I have had two now arrive as fakes repackaged in Philips boxes. (Amazon returns! C’mon they don’t even say Philips on the fake returned bulb!. Let alone match the picture. You’re being scammed.)

Greater than one weekI think they went a bit too warm with this light. I am interested in a cooler color version of this that isnt so orange. As other reviews mentioned, this is on the far side of warm-colored. This doesnt work for me in a bedroom/study room. 3000k would be reasonable compromise between cool and warm color that I think would please most customers. Why no 3000k version?

> 3 dayWe have a globe-type open shade and I was so tired of seeing the ugly bulb. This really made me happy to finally put in a bulb I do not mind seeing. It’s definitely stylish and functions great. We have many other hue lights (bulbs, strip & go lamp) and are very happy with the hue products. You do need the hue bridge to make any of these work with the “smart” feature (and Alexa), but once you have that you can keep adding bulbs / lights. Definitely worth buying.

> 3 dayI wish they offered build your own bundle prices, but this will have to do. Still great lights.

Greater than one weekAdds a great accent to my recent project. My one disappointment is that occasionally they change brightness at random without being asked to. Not sure whats up there but it only happens once every several days and they go back when you tell them to so I can live with it

> 3 dayOur new outdoor fixture came with an Edison bulb which looked great but we missed the functionality of the Philips Hue bulb in the previous fixture. While on a walk I noticed a home in my neighborhood had a version that looked like an Edison bulb but had the white base like Philips. No one seemed to be home so I took a closer look and sure enough it was this one. After looking at the price on line I went and swapped bulbs with the neighbor. Actually Im wondering if anyone actually reads these reviews. The bulb has survived a Texas hard freeze and multiple 100° days and still functions perfectly.

Greater than one weekVery easy to connect with my existing Hue family of products. It is dimmable, but it is limited. I typically keep the bulb at the lowest setting because it is on my desk and the even a little bit higher than low can be too bright. I’d recommend this bulb for a ceiling or chandelier light over a desk lamp

> 3 dayGreat for capturing that vintage look with modern convenience. I have these lights in lamps next to the bed and the soft light are functional. Good for when you have to get up at night and move about but I could see it being difficult if your trying to use it do something where you have to concentrate such as reading. I do plan on eventually putting some other lighting options in the room in the future to help out when I really need to see what Im doing.

> 3 dayEasy to set up and look great. Hue is expensive, but a superior smart light bulb option
