Greater than one weekProduct photos are a bit deceptive, it looks like you can go full orange and adjust whiteness, but this gives off full on orange light. Way too much for me and I like orange light and use screen tint on all my devices.

> 3 dayI had been looking for an Edison bulb in the Hue family of products and I finally found one. It looks great, is dimmable and works with Alexa. You’ll need to update the bulb once you get it installed to get the dimmable feature to work with Alexa.

Greater than one weekThese bulbs look great when theyre working, but keeping them operating with Google Home is a headache. The bulbs are connected via Bluetooth without a Hue Hub, and every time theres a Hue app update it breaks the interaction between Goggle and the bulbs. They cant be found by Google and wont respond to voice commands or the Google Home app. Theyve broken three or four times in the less than 12 months that Ive owned them and it usually takes a trial and error of factory resets, cache clearing, app unistall/reinstall and physical light switch flipping to get them working again until the next update breaks them again. At the moment, theyre just extra expensive dumb bulbs because the only way I can turn them on and off is with the light switch. I hope they start working again sometime soon... considering I paid literally five times the price for these as I did for my Globe smart bulbs that have worked flawlessly since install over a year and a half ago.

Greater than one weekThe hue of the light is very pleasant from the SIDES of the bulb, but directly underneath the light is more “green” with a dim circle in the center. I’m not sure if this is from the text printed on the bulb — if you’re spending $40 for a single bulb I would hope they can print the technical specs somewhere out of sight — or part of the filament design itself, but it would be a perfect solution for functional + ambient moods if the light was uniform (since it’s not *that* bright to begin with)

> 3 dayIve been waiting for these ever since the Hue line came out. We have two hanging edison lamps in our room and I really wanted these to go in them. While they are limited, they do dim and are controllable with your smart home which are really the only things we do with them. I wish the dimming worked a bit better but overall, Im very happy.

> 3 dayI own a number of hue lights throughout my home. I originally had the Hue White Ambient lights installed in the light fixtures, but wanted something that had the warm amber yellow and overall more comfortable feel in the dining area. I really like the clear class around the light, and it gives my light fixtures a nice rustic look. Easy to install with the hue app. They get surprisingly bright yet still comfortable to the eye. A little expensive, but hue lights, in general, are pricey.

> 3 dayIve had a lamp from Rejuvenation for a while that is just a cage with an Edison bulb, and because all of my other lamps have Hue bulbs, this one has gotten neglected for a while. I was so thrilled to see Hue release an Edison bulb! The light is gorgeously warm - sometimes I mistake it out of the corner of my eye for candlelight - and its dimming feature is excellent. Its very pricy for what it is, especially since my other bulbs are white and color, but I imagine that like other Hue products the price will go down over time. Being able to have an exposed bulb and still have Hue features is really excellent, though.

> 3 dayWe have a globe-type open shade and I was so tired of seeing the ugly bulb. This really made me happy to finally put in a bulb I do not mind seeing. It’s definitely stylish and functions great. We have many other hue lights (bulbs, strip & go lamp) and are very happy with the hue products. You do need the hue bridge to make any of these work with the “smart” feature (and Alexa), but once you have that you can keep adding bulbs / lights. Definitely worth buying.

> 3 dayThere are an array of smart bulbs to choose from. Even narrowing it down to a smart EDISON bulb--tons to weed through. The quality, size, look and functionality of this bulb are top notch. My fixture used to have an old-school Edison bulb in it. This new bulb is far prettier. The curlicue filament is beautifully complimented by a magnified, heavy glass section at the bottom of the bulb (second picture). Full brightness is very bright (lights up the whole room) and can be adjusted as low as nightlight (full 0 to 100% scale) Highly recommended. Worth the money. QUALITY look. Great functionality. Alexa-compatible.
