Philips Hue White Ambiance Dimmable Smart Filament ST19, Warm-White to Cool-White LED Vintage Edison Bulb, Bluetooth & Hub Compatible (Hue Hub Optional), Voice Activated with Alexa

It might just be because I haven’t quite figured them out yet but, after install one of the two lights I purchased constantly loses connection. I should note that I don’t have a hue bridge and control the lights exclusively through my Alexa hub. I don’t even have the hue app. Other than that, the brightness is good however it’s almost blinding if the lamp faux filament itself is exposed, which as an Edison bulb I think most people like to be able to see the fiber optic filament. Not an issue though because you can control the brightness and even at its lowest (like 1%) it still gives off a decent amount of light. Pretty fair price as well. I should note that they are made of glass unlike other smart bulbs so be careful unpacking.

I have 5 of these bulbs in a chandelier fixture in my dining room. They worked great for about 2 years, but then they started to randomly turn on. I would turn off all the lights, but one by one, each bulb would turn back on until all 5 were on again. Only way to keep them off now is the light-switch, which defeats the purpose of smart bulbs. After 3 years, the bulbs started to flicker -- mostly for a while when turned on but also just random flickers here and there. For the price and brand name of these bulbs, I had expected a product at Hues regular standard. I like the vintage look but not the vintage performance.

I think they went a bit too warm with this light. I am interested in a cooler color version of this that isnt so orange. As other reviews mentioned, this is on the far side of warm-colored. This doesnt work for me in a bedroom/study room. 3000k would be reasonable compromise between cool and warm color that I think would please most customers. Why no 3000k version?

Great for capturing that vintage look with modern convenience. I have these lights in lamps next to the bed and the soft light are functional. Good for when you have to get up at night and move about but I could see it being difficult if your trying to use it do something where you have to concentrate such as reading. I do plan on eventually putting some other lighting options in the room in the future to help out when I really need to see what Im doing.

If you buy 4 pack open them all and make sure they are actually hue bulbs!!!!! I bought the 4 pack of these and glad i opened both boxes. When opening the first box I noticed immediately that these were NOT Phillips hue bulbs just regular cheap led Edison bulbs. Have no idea how this happened because boxes were sealed. Opened the second box and they were the right ones. Now I have to return all 4 for a refund. Such a waste of time!

These give off a great warm light and maintain a good connection through walls, but man they were expensive. I had to get four of them. Tons of compliments on these.

Since Im already deep in the Hue eco-system with dimmer switches and tons/all of multi-colored bulbs/light strips throughout my condo, when doing my overhead light fixture in my kitchen, I had it replaced it with hue bulbs, which required 8 Hue bulbs. Talk about expensive. The bulbs were 3 times mores than the fixture itself!. Ugh, painful, but worth it in the long run as they should last many many years and be super reliable. THEY BETTER BE.

After reading some of the other reviews, I was a little worried this bulb wouldnt be bright enough for our front porch. But it was perfect! In fact, I normally keep it around 75% and its still twice as bright as the bulb it replaced. I now have my porch lighting dialed in perfectly thanks to this Philips Hue bulb!

Hue lights don’t disappoint. Have about 30 in our home. They work perfectly each and every time
