The Hue Hub will not connect to my WiFi Router. I’ve called Comcast and they too were hopeless in being able to help get the Hub connected. I spent 3 hrs on the phone with a level 3 support person from Comcast, to make sure I was connecting the router and hub correctly. The Hub drops the connection (all lights go out) immediately after connecting up the Hub. It’s a miserable waste of money. Philip Hue has no support team to help and now amazon will not let me return the broken item. Really upsetting. Major disappointment.

I ordered the four lamp starter pack as a Christmas gift. The same deal was available at Home Depot but this was more convenient than having to go to the store. I already have Philips Hue set up at my apartment and I absolutely love it. This review isnt based on Philips Hue- I highly recommend Philips Hue to everyone. The package I received looked like the real thing initially. I took one of the lamps out (after the recipient opened his gift obviously) and immediately noticed it was different than all the Philips lamps I have in my apartment. The lamps are larger than the real thing, same shape though. The top of the lamp was made of plastic instead of glass like the real ones are. I have the latest generation but figured maybe another recently came out over the holidays and perhaps they changed how they look a little. Wrong. I took out one of my existing lamps in my apartment and replaced it with one of these slightly larger plastic lamps and my bridge wanted nothing to do with it. It would not pair wirelessly or with the serial number. Im guessing these lamps probably work with the supplied counterfeit bridge and people are unknowingly getting ripped off only to find out when they buy additional lamps that they wont be compatible. I read a few other reviews from people who also own and are familiar with what Philips Hue was supposed to look like after the fact and saw that my purchase was not an isolated case. Other people also received counterfeit starter packs when they ordered the 4 pack. It seems like if you get the 3 pack youll be fine. Otherwise Id recommend buying this product from an actual store like Apple or Home Depot. Again, DEFINITELY get Philips Hue. Its amazing youll love it. But dont get the four pack on here its fake.

Work great but cost more than alternatives.

I am having a ton of fun changing the colors in my room. Works as expected with the apps and google home. A little pricy for four bulbs and a hub and you should factor this in when purchasing and the reason for four stars.

Great product I love setting the moods with different colors. I use my Alexa and tell it to turn on and off or dim. Highly recommend
