Totally thought these bulbs would be great, nope going to return them. Will not work with Apple TV. Worthless. I even called their customer service and they told me I have use my computer to get he full effect. Works with Alex etc, does mean they do what. You pay for. Don’t buy

Easy to set up (the hardest part was opening the Amazon box that it was mailed in); easy to use. Works great with Alexa/Echo.

Ive been using the Wemo smart plugs to control my lamps and after a couple years the problems have become too consistent. Not conecting to google, app not working or freezing, too many problems and too darn frustrating. Enter the philips hue light bulbs. The setup was simple and they have been working flawlessly. I never realized how much I would like being able to dim the lights but also changing colors. Google as been working without issues to turn lights on and off and the app works every time to make color or dimming adjustments. You can setup light schedules, etc as well. These are definitely pricey but for a them to work correctly all the time, the convenience is well worth it.

They work great! One of the only downsides is how irritating the first time setup process is. But after thats completed theyre amazing, we use them with our google homes making them very convenient. A great gift and all around a great product.

Philipe makes the best bulbs for home automation. They work without exception, I use them mainly with Alexa.

Love the array of colors to choose from. My 10 year old thinks our house is so cool. I’m getting more tech savvy with these lights, 3 Alexa’s, and I’m leaving our Twinkly Christmas Tree up year round as I can change the colors on the tree to whatever I want from an app on my phone. 4 stars only as to lately, there’s been a major delay or sometimes I have to just leave it alone for a good few minutes and retry and it’ll work then to change the color to what I selected.

Box of frustration. The hub wont stay connected to the network. Only one light on. I changed the ethernet cable, did a hard reboot, unplugged it numerous times. Checked the settings in the router which its plugged into directly, no extenders. I was up all night reading various forms as this seems to be a common problem. Tried to get help from phillips, who were completely unhelpful and rude. They kept telling me the same thing over and over didnt listen to the answers to my questions. This is a lot of money for it not to work. Im gonna fool with it bit longer but more than likely will be boxing it up and shipping it back. Im very disappointed in both the product and the service.

These Hue Colored bulbs get worse over time, they now minds of their own after 8+ months. I totally regret this purchase.
