Pros: - Great picture quality. Deep whites, rich blacks, vibrant colors. Good color accuracy after some minor tweaks. Great white and black uniformity. Contrast ratio is lower than most VA panels but still a huge step up from an IPS or TN panel. Gaming is where this monitor really shines! - Two display ports, two HDMI ports - Joystick OSD control was snappy and response. Lots of options in the OSD - Very low input lag, very response Cons: - Small text is blurry and has noticeable fringing. I tried solving this by maxing out the sharpness and using Cleartype and several solutions I found online. This seems to be an issue inherent with VA panels. I planned to use this as a work monitor, but this issue was too noticeable for me. Some will be less sensitive to this though - My unit came with some minor scuffs on the back of the panel Misc: - Stand is very study, but has only tilt adjustment - 32 inches is big for a monitor. Great if its your only monitor, but I had this as a second display and my neck was not happy from needing to move so much - Response time is a mixed bag. Most of the time motion is clear, especially in bright areas. Smearing becomes somewhat noticeable in dark areas. I didnt mind it because it was brief, but if response time is important, then a TN panel or a high end IPS panel will work better for you. Hardware Unboxed stated in their review for this monitor than in terms of response time, its closer to 120hz panel overall

144hz, 1ms, simple and clean looking. I love it a lot. But I dont know if its a flaw or not so Ill just say it here. Occasionally I want to play my switch and call someone on discord. So I would switch hdmi and I would be able to call and play games. Though if you turn off the switch before switching back to pc, the display cable for the pc renders as no signal. I try switching out the cables and it works but if I do the same mistake, it renders the display cable as useless again which is really annoying.

I needed a non-curved flat 32 LCD with freesync and connection ports at the bottom of the monitor for my arcade Mame cabinet setup. For me it was hard to find suitable non-curved LCDs at 32 with fast response and freesync or gsync these days. At $300, good overall reviews on the web, this is a great monitor that checked all my boxes. Though the colors are slightly more dull because of the VA panel when compared to my other IPS LCD. This was an expected trade-off for an affordable, smoother, input lag reducing, tear free gaming of my arcade classics and then some at this time. Its not that bad at all, but if offered with same spec 32 non-curved IPS panel it would be 5 stars. Only issue so far is with Pixios overdrive response setting on high. All of my games slow or fast moving had bad shadowing. Fixed it by setting overdrive back to Medium. Other than that, havent experienced any other issues yet, so far so good.

The good: -No dead pixels, or any other significant defects, on my sample. -Extremely low input/processing latency. -Solid OSD options, including a usefully granular black boost control. -Stand is sturdier than I was expecting. -Better contrast and blacks than virtually any TN or IPS panel without FALD. -Minimal black crush. -VRR (VESA Adaptive Sync/Freesync/G-Sync) works. -165Hz refresh rate without VRR, 48-144Hz with it. -Thin overall, minimal bezel, and no-nonsense styling. The bad: -Absurd dead pixel policy of 99.99% guaranteed working pixels...which means almost 400 of them can be defective before the display is eligible for warranty. -Contrast relatively poor for a VA panel; closer to 2000:1 static than advertised 3000:1. -Default settings no where near accurate; needs considerable adjustment for best results. -Response time borderline for 144Hz+. -Noticeable overshoot ghosting on highest overdrive setting. -Mild color uniformity issues. -Cheap screws for stand; stripped the heads on at least one of them first install. In the end, I would definitely recommend this display to anyone looking for a solid gaming and general use experience on a 32 1440p display without spending a fortune. Its one of only two non-curved display lines with these specs that Ive been able to find, and Ive had better experiences with this one.

I purchased three of these 32-inch monitors on Black Friday 2020. Best Monitors I have ever purchased (So Far). The quality is flawless, sharp and colorful. I upgraded from (2) 22-inch 1080p monitors that were almost a decade old. I plugged these in and turned on my computer, I nearly fainted. I had a smile from ear to ear for days. The pictures on Amazon does not do these monitors justice. These monitors are HUGE. quality is great and the colors are awesome. And its sharp, like really sharp. I found out about these monitors from watching eSports & gamers using them. These are VERY worth the money. Currently using them in 1440p mode, but it does go 1-step higher. But since my GTX 1070-Ti is not that great in handling anything more than 1440p I didnt go higher in resolution. I am waiting for prices to go way down to normal prices on the GTX 3090 graphics cards, to try higher settings. Anyways, I dont want to babble, ill just say that since Black Friday 2020, ive been extremely happy with these. And I hope nothing happens to these monitors that I seriously love. Hope there is great support IF it does. Thank you Pixio :)

This monitor can get very bright, has great saturation with its IPS display, and the back of the monitor has a nice modern look. For gaming, it is definitely enough for me with its 144hz display. Furthermore, the 1ms response time is a great plus,, especially when you consider how much less common the feature is with IPS monitors. The only issue though is that even though it is advertised as g-sync compatible (which it needs the DP cable for), it has not been tested by Nvidia and therefore does have some issue with certain games when g-sync is enabled in the Nvidia Control Panel. However, I am overall very happy with this monitor and the great price that I got it for of $170.

2019-2020 Update Pixio sent me another monitor. I have been blown away with their customer service. I love this thing. I believe the first monitor was not even faulty. I believe it was my own error, but they still sent me another monitor. I highly recommend this monitor if your a hard core gamer. Very satisfied. Older Update-Monitor stopped working for me. Went through every trouble shooting issue I could. Multiple display port/hdmi cables and it is still defective. I have tried everything. I know it is the panel because I have connected it to another computer that has a working monitor and the Pixio stays on a black screen. The blue indicator light says that it is on, but Does not display an image. I have submitted an RMA form to Pixio and will soon update this review again once I have went through the RMA process. I’m a very hardcore gamer. I have used every panel type -TN/IPS/VA I saw this monitor and said “something has to be fishy!” 1st and foremost, if you use an NVIDIA card you will be happy. I know I know, it’s a FreeSync monitor, Nvidia allows non certified monitors to use Gsync. While this may not be “officially” supported it works perfect. Enable FreeSync and then go into Nvidia control panel and enable GSYNC. Smooth as butter with no flickering at all. I also own and use a 27” dell 1440p/144hz Gsync display. Literally could not tell the difference. It is as if the monitor came with Gsync. The monitor is huge and I love that it is not curved. It has no dead pixels and input lag is extremely low. I honestly don’t understand how they can sell this at 299.99 It is 32” and you can use my included pictures as reference. It dwarfs my 27”. Pros - Gsync works perfectly- beautiful VA panel- no dead pixels - comes with a vesa mount- low response time. Seriously stop reading this and buy this monitor! Omg Cons- literally nothing. If you are still reading this you should stop and click add to cart. You will not be disappointed! This is a steal at 299.99. They should sell this for 499.99 because it would still be a bargain! Did I mention this thing is super thin. Did I mention the colors of the VA panel are amazing! Seriously, Pixio has set the bar so high.

Liked the monitor, bought it last May, so less than a year. Could it have been bumped? Possibly. But if so, it was indetectable to me. Happened while gaming. Cant see any area on the screen thats broke when its turned off.

Its a really nice monitor with some minor flaws. It has a bright and colorful panel. I like how nice the image looks and the colors pop, and while I can sometimes see some slight smearing and ghosting in dark scenes of certain games and movies its not a deal breaker. I read online there are better, more expensive options but for my budget I am very pleased. Heres hoping that it will provide many years of use. The only quirk I encountered was learning how to bring up the OSD menu when changing video sources. If you only hook one device youll never have to deal with this, but if you do then switching sources is not as straightforward as it should be. It is also somewhat confusing should the monitor fall asleep. Just remember to leave the input selection settings on Auto Select and to press UP on the control stick to invoke the source selection menu. The monitor I got appears to have the latest firmware, which uses an updated (smaller) menu. I can activate Freesync in all refresh frequencies (including 165Khz), which I heard from online video reviews was not possible in earlier firmare versions. Now that I had the monitor for a while Ive settled down to lowering the brightness a little bit from its default setting. The high refresh rate is a treat but what won me over was the next step in resolution. I am really digging 1440p at 32 inches. Love the extra real state on my desktop. 2K, 4K, and 1440p or higher streaming content on youtube and Netflix shines on this monitor. If you can grab one go for it. You wont be disappointed.
