Pokémon Legends: Arceus - Nintendo Switch

The graphics in Pokémon Arceus are amazing. It’s more like an adventure immersion game (similar to Zelda) than prior Pokémon games. Fun to play! My 12 year old son loves it! He finished it in 1 week! Lol!

After playing every generational pokemon game in existence, this is by far my favorite. Unfortunately, they decided to remove the linking cord in scarlet and violet.

Bought for my son. He enjoyed the game.

So I’ve been playing Pokémon games since Pokémon Red… And (sorry if this offends anyone) they kinda suck…They’re all basically just reskins of each other with the same plot and same game mechanics. Basically, if you’ve played one game, you’ve played them all. And if you’re into that, great! Good for you!…I am not. Arceus however, is the first Pokémon game I’ve played that I’ve REALLY enjoyed. Primarily for the open world aspects it has in it. Most Pokémon games feel extremely…Cramped. There’s no freedom to do much, but this game gives you A LOT MORE FREEDOM. The boss battles are also different, challenging and fun! I also LOVE letting my Pokémon out of their balls and talking to them to see the animations! SO CUTE! I mean don’t get me wrong, you still have to sit through hours and hours of dialogue THAT YOU CAN’T REALLY SKIP!…And don’t care about. But honestly, I’m just used to that at this point with games that exist like Genshin Impact and other Nintendo games. It’s fun to play, fun to explore the maps and rewarding when you finally can explore a new region or find your first random shiny Pokémon walking around out in the wild and you’re just like “Wait…That Eevee isn’t the right color…” Overall, would highly recommend even if you’re sick of the classic Pokémon experience and are looking for a slightly new twist on things.

Ever since I was little, I would play pokemon a lot. This? Is so much different from the previous games! I love it! Still havent finished it, wanting to stretch it out and get 100% on the Pokedex. There is also some pretty tough battles near the post-game so that is also very exciting! However, if you do not like just catching Pokemon, you might not enjoy it as much. There are very few battles within the story and post-game. There is someone who can set them up, but this game is mostly about catching all the Pokemon in the region. If you are not into that, you might want to pass until the next Pokemon mainline game that will come out this year!!

This game has redefined Pokémon. Instead of constant battles like other Pokémon titles, this game lets the player explore the region that becomes the Sinnoh region. If you liked Breath of the Wild you’ll love this game.

I play Pokémon all my life. This was a great makes up for the series highly recommend anyone who loves Pokémon.
