If you’re expecting another Pokémon game like previous entries…don’t. This is a breath of fresh air for this franchise. Is it perfect? No. Is the game fun creative and immersive? Yes. Here instead of being a Pokémon trainer battling to “be the very best!” you’re thrown into a research group where you are investigating and researching Pokémon to create the first Pokédex! There’s a lot of new features in this game that make it so much fun. I was never interested in the Pokédex before but they make it really fun completing it and have a cool story line with it. I would recommend this if you just like Pokémon and are not dead set on needing to do gyms and collect badges. You still battle in this game but it’s the not the main focus as in other games. I recommend it and if you don’t like it Amazon offers 30 days returns!

The game is amazing, what Id hoped it to be, but how they shipped it mortified me. It looked like someone tried to break it open, as theres a large hole in the actual games case, right at the spine, just torn open. The game was alright and works fine, but the case just doesnt look as good and none of the actual packaging was damaged, just the product itself. So Im disappointed to say the least, just at the seller.

Finally a Pokémon game that lives up to the hype and recaptures my childhood memories. Amazing game, 10/10 would recommend!

Open world aspect is extremely appealing and gives a more natural, flowing feel compared to traditional Pokémon games. Definitely a must have for fans of the franchise. New Hisuian variants are attractive as well.

This is hands down the best Pokémon game that has been released in a long time. Im a long time fan and play some form of Pokémon every day. The excitement I get playing this game bring me back to the red/blue days. Being able to craft your own items and use your team freely to collect materials or battle wild Pokémon is fun in and of itself. The challenge of the wild alpha Pokémon is alway fun and exciting. There really isnt enough I can say about this game. I just hope they keep producing this style of game moving forward in the series.

Let’s just break this down into a pro’s and cons list. The pros: -most new gameplay elements (crafting, dodging, additional focus of exploring) are good steps in the right direction -the EV system is slow, but I think I enjoy it more than EV grinding -QOL changes (map with side quests, multi-release of Pokémon, etc.) are welcome The cons: -graphics are awful -story is awful (even for a Pokémon game) -there are too many cutscenes -there isn’t really enough space for Pokémon in your boxes, despite catching Pokémon being more important than battling in this game -there aren’t really important or difficult Pokémon battles. The updated combat system is neat, but underutilized -environments are barren and repetitive The game manages to be both refreshing and frustrating at the same time; a step in the right direction, but it feels lazily (or poorly) executed

This game is the best Pokemon game ever in my opinion and I have been playing Pokemon since Red and Blue came out. I have put well over 15 hours into the game have only just scratched the surface of what can be done in the game. I love just running around and seeing all the Pokemon in the wild. 10/10 highly recommend.

Very fun game if youre a Pokemon fan! Too much talking though because I dont like story mode, i wish it was more open world but it is a step in the right direction. Amazon almost forgot to deliver it on time until i contacted amazon support.
