Greater than one weekFrom what I played it’s good. Surprisingly didn’t get too bored from the catching mechanic because of the risk rewards for the ambush. When I saw the battle styles I actually gravitated to the similarity to monster hunter stories in tactical approach to battle. I kinda wish it was more open world like Breath of the Wild, but a vast improvement compared to the wild areas in sword and shield. If anything it made use of what the DLC From that game tried to accomplish.

> 3 dayI have played a good number of pokemon games (yellow, red, green, emerald, sword, and scarlet off the top of my head) and this is by far my favorite pokemon game. The play style is amazing, I love being able to throw pokeballs at pokemon directly and the gathering aspect of the game is great for collectors. The research style is also super fun and encourages more interaction with wild pokemon than just trying to catch one of each. The open world style is the perfect balance of freedom and guidance. Highly recommend.
