Pokémon Legends: Arceus - Nintendo Switch

This is (imo) one of the absolute best Pokémon games I’ve ever played and I’ve played them all, literally. Game is beautiful, you can tell ALOT of work when into this and it surely paid off. Product was in excellent shape, shipping was fast. Plus I actually got the bonus mystery gift for preordering unlike when I preordered Pokémon BDSP. Buy this game if you haven’t!

When I first started playing the game it was really fun, the gameplay was a fresh change and felt like a combination of Pokemon, legend of Zelda, and monster hunter and the story was interesting enough to not button mash through conversations with NPCs. Once I got about halfway through the story in the game I started to get bored because the game became repetitive grinding similar to Pokemon games like diamond and pearl. The conversations with NPCs also started to become less interesting and I began to button mash through some of the conversations with NPCs. I was disappointed when I realized that I was not able to ride some of the pokemon that I caught like Pokemon lets go Eevee and Pokemon lets go Pikachu. The riding Pokemon feature is a lot like Pokemon sun and moon.

The game has its minor issues with visual glitches and other technical issues, but overall it is taking Pokémon in an amazing new direction. For a completely new formula, this game is fantastic.

Kinda slow at first, but it picks up a couple hours in.

This game has been so much fun. The maps are fun, the gameplay is beyond amazing, and this is the first Pokémon game where I’ve actually wanted to complete the entire Pokédex and keep playing. The story is just okay, but the gameplay completely makes up for it. Open world breath of the wild meets Pokémon!

This game is so good I cant stop playing it , this is such a different pokemon game and they did such a good job with it , just wish mega evolution was still a thing.

This is the very first open world like Pokemon game, unlike Sword and Shield, all battles happen in real time on the map instead of a battle screen, which is great! You could even escape the battles by running away. All pokemons are alive in the map, which you could see all of them directly. This is not a perfect game, but is a great evolution of pokemon game.

Great game! Love the story line and free range. Highly recommend
