WOW, these are great sounding speakers. Was dubious about box speakers that could deliver. The money was well worth it. Bass, mid and high are a matched blend. I know you are limited on outdoor speakers that can deliver but these do. Pay a little more and get the sound you deserve. Well done Polk.

Love them! It hasn’t rained yet so not sure about waterproof but it says they are. Sound is great for what we need - Pool parties! Super easy to install. Does not come with speaker wire. Neighbors are going to listen to good music whether they like it or not with these speakers! Haha

I bought this because of the reviews and because I had been a long-time Polk and Definitive loyalist. When I went to mount this, the speed-lock mounting system turned out to be defective, as one end kept rotating freely without tightening. Instead of returning it immediately, I called Polk tech support, and thats when the frustrations began to mount. I spoke to a guy Kim, who gave me a reference # on 5/20/19 for an order he put in to replace the speaker, but I was suspicious when I never got a confirming e-mail. Sure enough, when I did not get the part, I called on 5/31/19 and no one knew anything about it. I asked Greg to have a supervisor call me; he said he would - never got a call. Will just try to return to Amazon at this point. Very disappointing!

Amazing sound. Very happy I chose this and after only seeing all the reviews! Rich deep sound with excellent output. Great for parties. Has the sound of an indoor theater system with no echo or other sound distortions you can hear with outdoor speakers.

These are fantastic - amazingly rich sound with Bass for outdoor speakers. I use them with a sonos amp and the sound on my back deck and down to my pool is clear and full. The highs are not Tinny and the lows are rounded out and nice. They have also survived the heat and the ridiculous rain storms of Texas.

It is a great all around high-end outdoor speaker solution. I listen to a wide variety of music and it all sounds great coming from these speakers. Granted, I have not had them that long yet, but so far they have withstood The horrors of the Jersey shore including downpours, excessive humidity and the salt air. Ill report back after I have had them for a year or two. Fingers crossed - but they have a great warranty.
